Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a large space on the top of the core at a triangular connection between leading wires of one phase and the other by connecting the former to the bushing side by side with the latter in such a manner that the internal space of the bushing pocket extended toward the other phase on the cover top in a 3-phase transformer provided with a low voltage large current winding. CONSTITUTION:An insulated cylinder 26, a low voltage winding 27, a main insulation 28 and a high voltage winding 29 are arranged outside the leg of the iron core 21 with the ends of the low voltage winding 27 and the high voltage winding 29 fixed by an end insulator 30. Leading wires 15 and 16 of the low voltage large current winding 27 are drawn upward through a cut on the end insulator and introduced to the bushing pocket 34 to form a triangular connection. The busing pocket 34 is mounted to the cover 33 on the transformer tank 32 housing the contents of the transformer.
