Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable combustion of a gas burner with high load and improve the strength of the gas burner against vibration or others by an arrangement wherein a throttle plate is provided between the primary and secondary combustion chambers, a swirling air inlet is provided in the secondary combustion chamber near the throttle plate, and the primary combustion chamber is formed in a cone shape.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel gas supplied from a gas conduit 3 enters into a gas header 6 of a primary combustion chamber 10 and then is injected from a gas injection port thereof. While primary and secondary airs enter thereinto through a primary air port 4 and a secondary air port 5, respectively. In this occasion, one part of the primary air enters into the primary combustion chamber 10 through air ports 8, another part of the primary air through air ports 11 provided in a cone 7, and the rest of the primary air through a gap between the cone 7 and a throttle plate 9, respectively. Air tangentially supplied from the secondary air port 5 into a secondary combustion chamber 12 is swirled therein and forwarded to the outside of the throttle plate 9. By so doing, there is caused partial combustion in the primary combustion chamber 10 and secondary combustion in the secondary combustion chamber 12, thereby absorbing pressure vibration within a pipe by the throttle plate 9.
