Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate an uneveness between nozzles of a multi-type recording head and to improve printing qualities by a method wherein shapes and sizes of piezo electric elements are made different with those of ink chambers. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of ink chambers 3, ink jet passageways 4, nozzles 5 and the like are formed on a base plate 1 of glass or the like. Further, a thin base plate 8 provided with piezo electric elements 9 corresponding to each of the ink chambers 3 is adhered on the base plate 1 and thus an ink jet recording head is constituted. Here, shapes of the piezo electric elements 9 are formed so as to be either bigger or smaller than those of the ink chambers 3. It is preferable to make the sizes of the piezo elements a little bit smaller than those of the ink chambers 3 from a view point of efficiency.
