Abstract

PURPOSE: To contribute to the promotion of output and the reduction of fuel consumption for a gas-turbine by devising to collect energy contained in LNG efficiently when LNG is evaporated by a pressure lower than the critical pressure.
CONSTITUTION: Gas-turbine operation gas exhausted from a turbine 1 is introduced into an LNG evaporation heater 7 after exchanging heat in a regenerator 3. At this stage, since the temperature of the operation gas at the exit of the regenerator 3 is selected to be higher than that of LNG at the exit of the heater 7 by 5W20°C, heat can be ideally exchanged between each other by the heater 7. Besides, the operation gas is given primary cooling by the heater 7 until a temperature higher than the saturation temperature of LNG at the evaporation pressure by 3W10°C. Then, after the compression by a low pressure compressor 5, the gas is given intermediate cooling by an LNG evaporator 6. This compression ratio is selected so that the temperature of the operation gas corresponding to the start point of LNG evaporation may be higher than that of LNG at the same point by 5W20°C.
