Abstract

PURPOSE: To completely atomize fire extinguishing agent by installing two sets of orifices crossing each other on the main body.
CONSTITUTION: The main body 1 has along its centerline a passage 3 whose internal diameter converges at the middle of the body, hemisphere horn 5 at the upstream of the body, and multiple side passages 6 arranged at right angle to the center line. The body further has the first orifice 4 at the end of the route 3 and the multiple second orifices 8 perpendicular to the center line. Part of fire extinguisher agent passes through conduit 2 and the passage 3, and is jetted through the first orifice 4 into the horn 5. The remaining agent passes through the side passages 6 and gaps 7, and is jetted through the multiple second orifices 8 into the horn 5. Thus, the fire extinguisher agent from the orifices 4 and 8 collide each other. This completely atomize the agent so that the total quantity of fire extinguisher agent is effectively utilized and enhances fire fighting efficiency through proper speed injection.
