Abstract
PURPOSE: To generate partly different torque outputs by use of a constant-load spiral spring by a method wherein the outer end of a constant-torque spring wound around a movable shaft type drum is coupled to the surface of an eccentric drum.
CONSTITUTION: One end of a constant-torque spring 2 wound around a rotary drum 1 integral with a shaft 3 is coupled to an eccentric drum 4 at a coupling portion 6. Because the distance from the eccentric rotation axis O' of the drum 4 to contact points 7, 8, and 9 are R', R", and R''' respectively, the torque is set largest at the contact point 8, smallest at the contact point 7, and medium at the contact point 9.
