Abstract
PURPOSE: To make idler for correction of belt snaking capable of correcting belt snaking even when a belt is inclined, by providing the idler with side rollers that are urged by weights and springs.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of side rollers 7 are installed through the frame 3 upstream of the snaking correction idler 1 that has the roller 19 supported by the rotating shaft 20. The side rollers 7 are supported by the rotating plate 9 provided with the weight 8 and are rotatable around the shaft 6. Further, the plate 9 is adapted to be corrected fo right-and-left swing by the spring 14 through the connecting plate 10. Consequently, belt snaking can be completely corrected by the side rollers in addition to the idler. If the weight 8 is removed, the device can be also applied as a horizontal conveyor, which is easy to install.
