Abstract

PURPOSE: To make low-voltage operation possible and also to obtain a sufficient output current by connecting in common the base of the 1st transistor supplying a constant output and that of the 2nd transistor controlling a collector current to a constant value in a constant power circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The common collector-base points of transistors Q11 and Q12 constituting the 1st and 2nd voltage generating methods are connected to bases of a differential couple of transistors Q13 and Q14 detecting a difference in potential between both the methods, and also to collectors of transistors Q15 and Q16 constituting the 1st and 2nd current control methods. Since collector-emitter voltages of Q11, Q12, Q15, and Q16 are all equalized by designing, an accurate output current can be obtained and an influence upon the power voltage disappears. Operating currents of transistors Q13 and Q14 can freely be set by resistance R13, and consequently a large current can be flowed while base currents of Q15, Q16 and Q19 can be absorbed.
