Abstract

PURPOSE: To control the treatment of exhaust gas stably and in a non-environmental pollution process by a method wherein the exhaust gas containing inflammable compounds is treated by means of a process formed by circularly connecting a mixer, a preheater, a blower and a combustor.
CONSTITUTION: A mixer 1, a gas preheater 2, a blower 3 and a catalyst type combustor 4 are connected in series, and one portion of gas from an outlet of the combustor 4 is connected to the mixer 1. A feed pipe for exhaust gas to be treated and a diluting gas feed pipe are arranged to the mixer 1 and a piping for circulating gas with high temperatures to an outlet of the mixer. Diluting gas, such as, air, etc. is mixed with the exhaust gas containing inflammable compounds, such as, benzene, acetone, etc. in the mixer 1, each valve is adjusted, and concentration and temperature are controlled. Thus, the inflammable compounds are perfectly oxidation- treated and changed into non-environmental pollution shapes by the catalytic action of the combustor 4.
