Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a burner with a reduced diameter and of high thermal efficiency by heaping up flame ports in two stages.
CONSTITUTION: Premixture of gas and air is flowed into a pressure equalizing chamber 60 consisting of a burner head main body 50 and a burner cap 51 beforehand. A multitude of teeth groove rows, shaped like as teeth of a gear, are provided at a lower peripheral surface of the burner cap 51, while teeth groove rows substantially engaging with the said teeth grooves are provided at an upper peripheral surface of the burner head main body 50 opposing thereto, and flame ports 52, 56, arranged in upper and lower two stages and in zigzag, are formed by these engagements. The said premixture is ejected through the flame ports 52, 56 and burnt under forming flames 54, 58.
