Abstract

CONSTITUTION: More than one kind of the following inorganic powders are added from the space between the coal economizer and air preheater, at the publicly known fuel oil combustion boiler carrying out reducing decomposition of NOx in the exhaust gas, by adding ammonia in more than 700°C of the exhaust gas produced from combustion chamber. More than one kind of zeolite, bentonite, kaolin, allophane, Shirasu, fly ash, talc, wallastonite, blast furnace slag, red mud, agalmatolite and mica, are used for the above inorganic powder. Also, about 0.1W100μ of grain diameter is preferable and a good result is obtained by adding in such a concentration in the exhaust gas as about 1W200mg/Nm3.
