Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent troubles, such as, the melting and attaching of clinker due to high temp, etc. by stabilizing the temp of a furnace by mounting a coller to a furnace wall and by adjusting the quantities of air and steam by automatic temp control. CONSTITUTION:When the temp of a furnace wall 8 rises, a temp sensor 17 works to open an automatic valve 18, and water is atomized from a spray nozzle 15, mixed with air from a fan 20 for cooling and changed into steam in an inwall of a cooling pipe 13. Air and steam heated in a cooling pipe 11 are jetted under combustion grates 4 from a blow-off nozzle 21. Since overheated steam and air are dispersed into garbage layers under combustion on the combustion grates 4 in a mixed condition, the pyrolysis and gasification of carbon in combustibles are promoted, thus resulting in the early completion of combustion and the cooling of the inside of the furnace by steam.
