Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely load a tape to the guide body of a rotary magnetic head by combining the winding and pulling means and strip members disposed behind the tape guide body and moving the pulling guide means. CONSTITUTION:When pulleys 17, 17' are rotated in clockwise and counterclockwise directions respectively by a worm gear device or the like, strip members 21, 21' are taken up by the pulleys 17, 17' and the terminal members 22, 22' move along the grooves 24, 24' of guide members 23, 23' and therefore tape pulling guide means 4, 4' pull out the magnetic tape 3 from the inside of a cassette 2 while moving along guide grooves 6, 6' by the members 21, 21'. Since these means stop by abutting against position members 7, 7', the tape 3 is loaded automatically around a tape guide body 1 over a range of at least 180 deg.. In the case of containing the tape 3 into the cassette 2, the pulleys 17, 17' are rotated reverse from the above. Thereby, the magnetic tape may be loaded to its guide body with the simple constitution.
