Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a quiet and highly efficient sealed-type compressor by providing a muffler linking to the compression chamber of the compressor proper.
CONSTITUTION: When the pressure on the high pressure side of compression chamber 21 is lower than the pressure in gap 31 inside the sealed case, lubricant 28 is led, by the pressure difference, into compression chamber 21 via through hole 27 from small hole 30 of muffler 29. As a result, rotor 22 inside compression chamber 21 and the sliding surface of blade 23 are lubricated well. Next, when the pressure on the high pressure side of compression chamber 21 becomes higher than the pressure in gap 31 inside the sealed case, discharge valve 26 opens and a greater part of the compression coolant is discharged to gap 31 inside the sealed case from discharge port 25. At the same time, a part of the compression coolant is led to muffler 29 via through hole 27, but these noises are deadened by muffler 29, and thus the operation is done quietly.
