Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve processing efficiency without lowering measurement accuracy and measure the reaction rates of samples by obtaining the time change rates of the photometric signals from the sum of the change amounts of the photometric signals respectively measured when the samples are stopping in a number of places of photometric parts, for the intermittently moving samples. A wavelength selecting circuit 424 selects the outputs of the detectors 416, 418 in order to make two-wavelength measurement and inputs the same to logarithmic amplifiers 424, 427, the outputs whereof are then made to absorptivity signals. In a differential amplifier 428, the difference of both, and the abosorption difference between the absorption wavelength and reference wavelength is obtained. These output data are stored as the absorptivity change values respectively for 12 seconds having been measured in respectively two places of the photometric parts, in a RAM. The two absorptivity change quantities are added in a microcomputer and the added quantity is multiplied 2.5 times, whereby the absorptivity change quantity for 1 minute is obtained.
