Abstract
PURPOSE: To make the reduction at a stroke of hydraulic pressure pulsation in each stage, by providing an air supply tube in the return path, in the multistage hydraulic machine, in which the flow path in each stage from the highest pressure stage to the lowest pressure stage is constructed by linking the above described return path.
CONSTITUTION: For instance, in a two-stage hydraulic machine, at an operation of water wheel motoring, the water, inflowing from a casing 4 linked to the hydraulic pressure pipe (not shown in the drawing), is drawn out to the bottom via stay vane 3, guide vane 2, runner 1, return path 7, guide vane 6, runner 5, and draft tube 8, on the other hand, at a pumping operation, the water flows in a reverse route to the above described. In this case, an air supply tube 10, opening at an inlet of the return path 7 near the high pressure stage runner 1, is provided with here supplied air deenergizing a vortex motion of the water flow at an outlet of the runner 1, simultaneously with a break away suppressed of the water flow at a flow path rapidly changing part in the inlet side of the return path 7, thus preventing a pulsation of the water pressure.
