Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate tubulence of suction gas stream by causing the longitudinal direction of a heating detection member to accord with the flow line of suction gas and fitting the member in suction acceleration portion.
CONSTITUTION: A tablet-like heat foil 4 is fitted to the wall of a benturi portion 3 of a suction cylinder 1, with the longitudinal direction kept vertical. The foil 4 is connected through wires 5 with an input/output terminal 6 through which a predetermined amount of electricity is fed to the foil 4 for heating it and the signal regarding to the resistance of the foil 4 is taken out. A throttle valve 2 is fitted on the downstream of the venturi portion 3, and the lower portion of the cylinder 1 is communicated to an internal-combustion engine through a suction pipe. The suction gas stream detector (foil 4) does not disturb the suction gas stream and no dust will stick to the surfaces of the foil 4 so that suction amount can be detected correctly.
