Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to perform read-in operation simply and quickly by increasing the density of scanning locus of the rotary reflection mirror through the vibration of the deflection reflecting mirror and drawing the composite locus on the scanning window via the fixed reflection plate placed on the circle.
CONSTITUTION: The deflection reflecting mirror 10 slightly deflects the light from the laser light source 1 and introduces the light to a plurality of fixed reflection plates 13 located on the circle taking the reflection mirror 12 as the center via the rotary reflection mirror 12 providing the reflection plane having two or more different slopes at least through the reception of the light from the reflection mirror 10. Further, to increase the density of scanning locus due to the reflection mirror 12, the reflection mirror 10 is vibrated to draw composite locus on the scanning window 5, and the goods 6 placed on the window 5 and the bar code tag sticked to it are scanned. Thus, the read-in operation can simply and quickly be made.
