Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture centering apparatus able to obtain desired dimension accuracy, by perforating even number penetrating holes in the axis direction of semicylindrical tube and plugging both ends of the tube after providing notch between the penetrating holes and then, joining nipple with the penetrating holes.
CONSTITUTION: The even number penetrating holes 20 are provided in the axis direction of semicylindrical tube 19 at regular intervals. Next, the notch 21 connecting the first penetrating hole and the second penetrating hole 20, is provided and so forth, the notch 21 connecting the next hole 20 at every odd number hole, is provided. Also, the notch 21 connecting the hole 20 at every even number hole, is provided at both end part of the tube 19. The half O ring-shaped plug 22a, 22b are put on both end parts of the tube 19 and the nipple 14a, 14b are attached, so as the plug 22a, 22b are joined with the hole 20 of the flange 15 side tip part of the tube 19. By the above welding head centering apparatus, desired dimension accruacy is able to obtain by decreasing the strain at the automatic welding of circumference of a circle of the tube etc.
