Abstract

PURPOSE:To use a room heater as a heat medium circulation type room heater, a hot water feeder, etc., by providing a heat exchanger at the room heater and circulating a heat medium through a pump. CONSTITUTION:The heat exchanger 8 is provided over the burning section 3 of an oil heater 1. The heat medium is circulated through a heat medium circuit 17 by the pump 18. The heat medium is so related to a damper 10 that the damper 10 opens a heat exchange passage 9 of the heat exchanger 8 when the temperature of the heat medium is lower than a predetermined level and closes the heat exchange passage 9 when the temperature of the heat medium rises up to the predetermined level. The damper 10 is operated either automatically or manually. The heat obtained by the heat exchanger 8 is used for a room-heating radiator 13 or a heat exchanger 14 for hot water supply.
