Abstract
PURPOSE: The title composition suitable for hight emitting diodes, having improved toughness, and a high heat distortion temperature, comprising an aromatic polyester, an aromatic polycarbonate, a diene graft copolymer consisting of vinyl monomers, and titanium oxide.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 100 part by wt. of a composition comprising (a) 4W95 wt.% of an aromatic polyester, preferably polybutylene terephthalate, (b) 4W95 wt.%, preferably 4W70 wt.% of an aromatic polycarbonate preferably bisphenol A type, and (c) 1W50 wt.%, preferably 3W30 wt.%, of a diene graft copolymer having 10W85 wt.% of a group of formula (R1, R2, R3 and R4 are H, 1W3C alkyl, cyano, nitro, carboxyl groups, or halogen) is incorporated with (B) 5W12 parts by wt. of titanium oxide having a particle size of 0.01W10 μ to give a resin composition having an L value measured by the Hunter color difference meter ≥93, preferably ≥94.
