PURPOSE: To provide a rust preventives obtd. by adding zinc ions to a mixt. of polyhydric phenol carboxylic acids or their esters, a crosslinking binder and a zinc chelate cpd. formation accelerator and allowing them to react, which gives remarkably improved white rust resistance to zinc and results in easy treatment of waste water.
