Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precipitate a plankton by inactivating that by a method wherein a phytoplankton of a water bloom, red water or the like which are generated by eutrophiction in river, sea area, lakes, ponds, etc., are irradiated with ultrasonic waves of a specific frequency in water. SOLUTION: When plankton cells of water bloom, red water or the like are irradiated with ultrasonic waves, the cells are inactivated, photosynthesis capacity is impeded, and they come to be easily precipitated. By executing such the precipitation treatment, the water bloom, red water, etc., are attempted to be excluded. A boat 2 is floated on a pond 1 in which the water bloom is generated when executed, and an inside of water 3 is irradiated with ultrasonic waves of 20 kiloherz or over frequency from a ultrasonic generator at suitable sounding intervals. An irradiation time at that time is determined according to a generation state of the water bloom. Further, excepting irradiation with ultrasonic waves under a state of floating the ship on the pond, water of the pond is circulated, the water under this circulation process is irradiated with ultrasonic waves, and defects are preferably attempted to be excluded thereby.

Irradiation was performed for 0 seconds, 1 minute, and 5 minutes. In each case, the water was separated from water in about 1 hour, only the water was completely precipitated and separated, and the supernatant was transparent. In addition, microscopic observation revealed that the colonies of the blue-green algae cells were completely destroyed and singulated. Furthermore, this process did not change for more than one month, and photosynthesis was not resumed. In laboratory example 2, water containing a large amount of water in the place of experiment 1 was used, and the power of ultrasonic wave was
A similar experiment was performed with 200 watts to 20 watts with similar results. Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. A ship 2 is floated on a pond 1 in which a blue-green algae is generated, and an ultrasonic generator 4 is irradiated toward an underwater 3 at an appropriate depth interval. The irradiation time is determined according to the status of the bloom. In the illustrated embodiment, the ultrasonic waves are irradiated while the boat floats on the pond, but it is also possible to irradiate the ultrasonic waves while circulating the water in the pond.
