Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core storing container as follows: It can easily store or discharge various types of cores without necessitating a large storing space. It can store the cores in the container, retaining high degree of freedom of choice at the time of discharge and allowing easy finding of the position of the storage. It can accurately and surely discharge the required type of cores, so that the core can be controlled easily and accurately, thereby coping with automization and laborsaving in the multitype-small-lot-production. It can flexibly cope with the change, modification, or addition in the operation schedule of a winder. SOLUTION: A prescribed number of core-vertically-placing rooms 210, in which a plurality of tubular cores for winding can be piled up for storage in the longitudinal direction and whose top surface is open, are arranged in the fixed form of arrangement. To be more specific, the container has an appearance of a (square) box as a whole, and on the top of it, a partitioning top plate 205 for partitioning in a lattice pattern the vertically-placing rooms 210 is provided. In addition, between the partitioning top plate 205 and the bottom surface part, partitioning rods 212, which are in contact with the peripheral surface of the core (c) so as to regulate the position of the cores (c), are erected at a prescribed interval.

In the above-mentioned winder, for example, Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No.
As described in JP-A-99747 and JP-A-6-40621, a plurality of (not necessarily the same length) cores are required for one winding operation (one wholesale). A posture in which the book cores are laid down side by side manually or by a core automatic feeding device one by one, for example, between a pair of winding drums provided in a winder as described later (horizontal posture).
And the cores are arranged in series along the length direction (if necessary, a spacer for centering and connection is inserted between the inner peripheral portions of the cores). By raising and lowering both ends of the aligned body in accordance with the increase in the winding diameter while holding and rotating the pair of chucks supported in a vertically movable manner, each of the divided slitted webs is placed on the outer periphery of each corresponding core. It is made to wind up at the same time.

[0004] When the winding diameter (roll diameter) of the web wound on the core reaches the set winding diameter, the winding roll with the core is discharged to the outside. Is supplied between the winding drums. The supply of cores to winders as described above has traditionally relied on manual labor, but if it relies on manual labor, productivity is poor, and so-called multi-various types that use various types of cores with different lengths in particular In the case of small-lot production, the type (length) of cores to be supplied frequently changes, so that erroneous supply of cores is likely to occur and a great deal of labor is required for workers. In order to improve productivity and save labor, attempts have been made to automate the supply of such cores.

[0009] The automatic core supplying apparatus 500 having such a configuration is generally controlled by a computer according to a predetermined program. That is, for example, the type and order of the cores c to be supplied to the winder are programmed in advance, and the core automatic supply device 500 stores the cores c to be supplied by the traveling platform 513 in response to a command from a computer. The arm 520, the carriage 525, and the suction tool 530 are moved and lowered while aiming at the center of one of the cores c located at the uppermost stage of the container 600. The core c is sucked and held by the holding tool 530, and thereafter, the arm 520, the carriage 525, and the sucking tool 530 move and ascend in reverse order, and the traveling platform 513 travels to the front end or the rear end of the rail 511, for example. The core c is transferred to the core sending device or the like, and thereafter, the same operation is repeated, and the core c required in the winder is repeated. One by one and supplies. In this case, the core c is loaded into the winder, for example, by being rolled in a horizontal position in which the core is laid down.

However, in the conventional automatic core supplying apparatus as described above, the cores c are stacked and stored in a staggered manner in the vertical direction in the core storage container 600 in a state of being laid horizontally. On the relationship
The following problems occurred. That is, the cores required in the winder are not necessarily the same kind of core, and in particular, in the case of multi-product small-lot production, in each winding operation and one winding operation, Many types of cores having different lengths are often used, and 40 to 50 types of cores may be required in one day.

However, the conventional core storage container 6
In 00, since the cores are stacked horizontally, only the top one of the cores stacked in one container or one row can be taken out. For this reason, the degree of freedom at the time of core removal is extremely low, and when dozens of types of cores are required, a considerable number of containers are required, and they are arranged along the rail, or It is required that the row of cores or the container storing the cores be replaced according to the type of core to be supplied to the winder.

In this case, arranging a large number (for example, 15 or more) of containers requires a large space, and particularly when the core is placed horizontally as described above, the occupied space on the plane becomes large. This is virtually impossible due to space constraints in the building, and the distance traveled from taking out cores from each container to the winder becomes longer depending on the number of containers. It takes a long time to carry, and there is a possibility that productivity may be significantly reduced.

[0013] Frequent replacement of a row of cores or a container containing the cores in accordance with the type of cores to be supplied to the winder requires a great deal of labor, complicates management, and reduces productivity. At the same time, erroneous supply of cores (incorrect type of core supplied to the winder) is likely to occur. If the erroneous supply of the cores occurs, the position of the core used for the current winding operation in the winder shifts as it is, so that the web cannot be properly wound on each core and they are wasted. For this reason, if a mistake is made in the core, such as by checking the type of core that is being supplied, the core is replaced manually, but replacing the core manually requires a great deal of trouble. This is cumbersome, during which time all lines are shut down, resulting in a significant reduction in availability.

In addition to the above, in the conventional automatic core supply device, the outer peripheral portion of the uppermost one of the cores stacked in a staggered shape in the container is suction-held by the holder and taken out. In such a method, the position of the core is not constant, and the core may be broken and the position may be largely shifted when the core is sucked and held by the holder.
In particular, when the computer is automated to take out the core according to a predetermined program, when the core is taken out, the holding tool (the taking-out tool) and the core do not align with each other.
Problems such as a situation where the core cannot be taken out or a situation where the core is dropped may occur frequently.

[0015] The operation schedule of the winder is greatly restricted due to the above-mentioned problems related to the core storage container. In other words, it is not possible to set an operation schedule that frequently changes the type of core to be supplied to the winder, and it is not possible to completely automate the supply of cores even when performing multi-product small-lot production. There were many parts to rely on. In addition, it was not possible to flexibly respond to changes, corrections, additions, etc., in the operation schedule of the winder.

For this reason, the following operation and effect can be obtained as compared with the case where the cores are taken out in the radial direction using a conventional core storage container in which the cores are stacked and stored horizontally. . Different types of cores (having substantially the same diameter and different lengths) can be individually stored in a predetermined number of vertical chambers provided in the container, and therefore, various types of cores can be stored in one container.

In each of the vertical chambers, the cores can be stacked in series along the length direction, so that one vertical chamber can accommodate a plurality of types and a plurality of cores. Specifically, assuming that the height of the vertical installation chamber is 180 cm, for example, those having a length of up to about 75 cm are provided in three steps, and the length is about 1 cm.
Those with a size of up to 20 cm can be stacked in two levels (more than one level only), and up to a total length of about 240 cm, a plurality of cores can be stored in one vertical chamber. In this case, even if a part of the core protrudes from the vertical installation chamber, there is no problem in storage, transportation, removal (extraction), and the like.

Since the position of the core accommodated in each vertical chamber is regulated by the members defining the vertical chamber, undesired behavior does not occur and the core is maintained at a fixed position. For this reason,
The correct storage position of the core can be easily grasped, and even when the computer is automated to take out the core according to a predetermined program, the position of the take-out tool is properly matched to the core at the time of taking out the core (at the time of taking out). As a result, the required core can be reliably and quickly removed from the container.

Comparing the case where the core is placed horizontally and the case where the core is placed vertically, from the viewpoint of space, the projected area of the vertically placed core is much smaller than that of the horizontally placed core. Since more types of cores can be arranged efficiently within a certain plane space, the number of types of cores that can be selected at the time of core removal increases, and the degree of freedom in selection can be increased. As the degree of freedom in selecting the core is increased, the restrictions imposed on the operation schedule of the winder are reduced. Further, even when the operation schedule of the winder is changed, or when the type of cores to be supplied to the winder is frequently changed and a multi-product small-lot production is performed, it is possible to flexibly respond flexibly.

For the reasons described above, many types of cores do not require a large space, are easy to store and take out, have a high degree of freedom in selection at the time of taking out, and are easy to grasp the storing position. Thus, the core of the required type can be surely taken out without the necessity of frequently changing the core or the container.

In addition to the above, when the core is automatically supplied to the winder by the automatic core supplying apparatus using the core storage container of the present invention, the order of supply of the plurality of types of cores to be supplied to the winder is considered. While storing one or more vertically in each vertical room,
Core storage position information indicating which core is stored in which vertical storage chamber in which vertical storage chamber is recorded, and then, in the automatic core supply device, the core storage position information is used by using the core storage position information. The stored cores are sequentially extracted in accordance with a supply schedule created based on the operation schedule of the winder and are sent out to the winder, so that the core can be easily and definitely managed, and the winder can be controlled easily. It is possible to flexibly respond to changes, corrections, additions, etc. of the operation schedule.

Further, by identifying the type of the core moving toward the winder, even if the type of the core is erroneously stored in the container,
By collating the operation schedule of the winder, the core supply schedule, and the core storage position information,
It is possible to easily find a core that has been erroneously transferred, take a countermeasure quickly, and reduce the possibility of erroneous supply of the core. On the other hand, by rotating the core conveyed by the core extracting / conveying means so as to lie sideways, and then sending the core toward the winder, the core can be conveyed rationally and the core can be transported. The winder can be properly loaded in the same posture.

10, the cores c can be stacked in series along the length direction, so that one vertical chamber 210 can accommodate a plurality of types and a plurality of cores c. In this case, even if a part of the core c protrudes from the vertical chamber 210, there is no problem at all for storage, transportation, removal (extraction), and the like.

The position of the core c housed in each of the vertical chambers 210 is regulated by the partition rods 212 that define the vertical chambers 210, so that undesired behavior does not occur.
Keep in place. For this reason, the exact storage position of the core can be easily grasped, and even if the core is automatically extracted according to the program predetermined by the computer CC1 as described above, the extraction tool is used when the core c is extracted (during extraction). (The positions (three-dimensional coordinates in the X, Y, and Z directions) of the inner peripheral chucking portions 37, 47 of the pickup mechanisms 30, 40 can be properly matched to the core c, and as a result, the required core c Can be taken out of the container 200 surely and quickly.

Further, comparing the case where the core c is placed horizontally and the case where the core c is placed vertically, from the viewpoint of space, the projected area of the core c which is placed vertically is much larger than that of the case where the core c is placed horizontally. Since it is small, the space efficiency is good, and more types of cores can be arranged in a certain plane space. Therefore, the types of cores that can be selected at the time of core extraction are increased, and the degree of freedom of selection can be increased. When the degree of freedom in selecting the core c is increased, the restrictions imposed on the operation schedule of the winder 300 are reduced. In addition, winder 30
Even when there is a change in the operation schedule of 0, or in the case of performing multi-product small-lot production in which the type of core to be supplied to the winder 300 changes frequently, it is possible to flexibly respond flexibly.

For the above reasons, many types of cores c do not require a large space, are easy to store and take out, have a high degree of freedom in selection at the time of taking out, and furthermore, grasp the storing positions. It can be easily stored in a container, and the core of the required type can be surely taken out without frequently changing cores and containers.

Further, in the automatic core supplying device 10,
In consideration of the order in which a plurality of types of cores c to be supplied to the winder 300 are to be supplied, one or a plurality of the cores c are vertically stored in each of the vertical chambers 210 of the container 200, and the type of core c Record the core storage position information indicating in which stage the core is stored, and then
In the automatic core supply device 10, the core storage position information is reproduced and used by the computers CC1 and CC2, and the core c stored vertically is sequentially extracted according to the supply schedule created based on the operation schedule of the winder 300. Thus, the core c can be easily and definitely managed, and the operation schedule of the winder 300 can be flexibly changed, modified, added, and the like.
