Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely crush a material to be crushed by pivotally attaching two axes on which crushing gears are fixed each to a hopper or a frame and providing a reverse force member whose both the ends are fixed to the hopper or the frame. SOLUTION: To a pair of roll axes 1, 2 horizontally hung in parallel to a hopper 3, crushing gears 4, 5 are fixed respectively and crushing tooth are integrally provided projectingly on the circumference of each of the crushing gears 4, 5. Then, above midway between the roll axes 1, 2 a reverse force member 9 is fixed. By this reverse force member 9, a material to be crushed C is received between the crushing gears 4, 5 so that the crushing teeth of both the crushing teeth 4, 5 are sufficiently caught on the material to be crushed C to enhance crushing efficiency. In this way, the presence of the reverse force member 9 enables smoothly and surely crushing of the material to be crushed C. Particularly by making the clearance between the roll axes 1, 2 and the reverse force member 9 larger than that between the crushing tooth of the roll axes 1, 2 with each other, the large material to be crushed is effectively crushed.
