Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating knob for a slide switch, which is so improved as to be free from rattling of its operating knob by letting a switch main body be separated from its operating knob. SOLUTION: In order to let an interior lamp for a vehicle be operated so as to be turned on/off, an operating knob 14 for a slide switch where a contact is turned on/off by moving a slide member 12 provided for a switch main body, is so constituted that a leaf spring shaped portion 14b which resiliently abuts against the inner surface 13b of a case accepting the switch main body, and a portion 14a connected with the slide member, are integrally formed into one body. By this constitution, the leaf spring shaped portion resiliently abuts against the inner surface of the case, and the operating knob is thereby prevented from rattling.
