Abstract

発明は、簡易な機構で、イメージセンサの正確な取付け
位置が求められ、取付け高さや平行度を調整なしに固定
できるようにすることを第一の目的とし、開閉可能なセ
ンサ部とすることで、通帳等のジャムが発生した際の保
守やセンサ部の清掃を簡易にすることを第二の目的とす
る。

メージセンサ取付け位置、高さ、平行度を容易に固定可
能とし、更には、イメージセンサを収容する筐体を開閉
可能とすることで簡易な保守性を合わせ持つ構成とす

センサ側の位置決め用突起部をガイドプレート側の穴部
に嵌合させると、取付け位置調整なしにイメージセンサ
は正規の位置に戻り、初期のイメージセンサ取付け状態
を確保できるものである。

技術により回転駆動されるものである。又、媒体1に印
字された文字やマークを光学的に読み取るイメージセン
サ2を装置後方に配し、媒体1の個々の情報をイメージ
センサ2で読み取り、装置中央部に配した印字ヘッド9
とプラテン10で構成される印字手段の印字ヘッド9直
下まで搬送ローラ組で媒体1を移動し、媒体1に所望の
印字が行われた後、挿入口6まで排出させる動作は周知
の技術による。本実施例においては、更にイメージセン
サ2を伸縮性のある物体(図1ではコイルバネ11)で
吊る構造とし、下搬送ガイド5上にガイドプレート3を
設け、同位置にイメージセンサ部(後述のセンサボック
ス)を回転(開閉)可能に支持している。ガイドプレー
ト3には、図2及び図3に示すように、イメージセンサ
位置決め用の長円形及び円形の穴を設けている。

各1ケ所)を有するガイドプレート3を備え、又、セン
サボックス13は、搬送路側壁に設けた回転支点15を
中心に、開閉可能な構造となっている。イメージセンサ
2の取付け位置は、読み取り精度に極めて影響するた
め、常時一定量のギャップと左右方向の位置を保持する
必要があり、その装置におけるイメージセンサ2部での
搬送ジャム等の障害発生時やセンサ読み取り部16に付
着したホコリやゴミ等を除去する保守を容易なものとす
る為、センサボックス13を開閉可能とする必要があ
る。イメージセンサ固定フック17を外し、センサボッ
クス13を開き、保守等の作業終了後、初期状態に戻す
場合、ガイドプレート3の位置決め用の2ケ所の穴に、
イメージセンサ2の突起部14a、14a′を入れ込む
ようにセンサボックス13を閉じるだけで、イメージセ
ンサ2の上下、左右方向の正確な位置決めができるよう
になっている。
