The sheet post-processing device is a sorter that sorts the paper discharged from the copying machine into a plurality of bins, a stapler that binds the paper sorted into each bin, and a paper sheet installed between the image forming device and the sorter. Each of the bins of the sorter includes a stack unit, a sheet conveyance path that conveys a sheet from the image forming apparatus to the sorter, an ejection unit that ejects the sheet from the bin to the stack unit, and a drive unit that moves each bin to the ejection unit. After stapling the sheets sorted into, the sheets are discharged to the stack section. Further, the sheets discharged from the copying machine can be directly discharged to the stack section without being sorted by a sorter into a plurality of bins.

However, origami, in particular, so-called Z-folding having a folding portion at the central portion in the transport direction of the sheet or at the transport direction slightly downstream from the center, or LGL of an overseas size is LTRR.
In C-folding, which is folded into a size, the tip of the origami paper that is ejected to the folded-back portion of the already loaded origami when it is loaded onto the bin collides with the folded-back portion, and the already-loaded paper is aligned. There is a risk that the origami will be disturbed or that the ejected origami will not be loaded correctly.

In the case of any one of "folding mode processing", "upper sorting processing", "lower sorting processing", "upper group processing", and "lower group processing", the bundle processing mode determination processing is performed after the end of the processing. In step S15, it is determined whether or not the sheet bundle conveying operation to the stack unit 13 is performed. When the stack portion bundle conveying process is selected, the sheet bundle conveying process to the stack unit 13 is performed in the stack unit bundle conveying process (step S17). This stack unit bundle conveying process (step S17) also includes a "stapling operation" for the sheet bundle.

As described above, according to the copying machine of the present embodiment, if the cause of interruption is over-loading or opening of the bin cover, it immediately depends on which of the non-sort tray 5 and the bin modules B1 and B2 is discharging. It is possible to switch between restarting the continuous operation or restarting after the copy start key 575 is pressed by the user. As a result, when the sheets are discharged to the non-sort tray 5, the operation can be simplified and the copying process time can be shortened by automatically restarting the copying operation. Further, in the case of discharging to the bin modules B1 and B2, it is possible to restart the continuous operation according to the user's request by restarting the continuous operation by the operation of the user.
Further, since it is possible to restart after a lapse of a predetermined time from the cancellation of the cause of interruption, it is possible to eliminate the trouble when restarting the continuous operation.

According to the image forming system of the first aspect of the present invention, when the post-processing of the sheets discharged from the copying machine is performed, the discharged sheets are sorted and stacked on the sorting stacking means. Alternatively, the discharged sheets are stacked on the normal stacking means without being sorted, but when the copying operation is interrupted due to the normal stacking means, the cancellation of the cause is detected by the cancellation detecting means, and the cancellation is detected. If the interruption is caused, the continuation of the copying operation interrupted by the resuming means is automatically resumed. Therefore, in the case of the interruption cause based on the normal discharge tray, the operation can be simplified by automatically restarting the continuation of the copying operation. . Further, the processing time in the copying work can be shortened.

According to the image forming system of the third aspect, the cause is the overload in the normal loading means, and the resuming means causes the overload on the normal loading means after a lapse of a predetermined time after the overload is released. If the paper is not on the normal stacking means, the continuation of the copying operation is resumed. Therefore, when the copying operation is automatically resumed, the cause of interruption is released. By enabling resumption after a lapse of a predetermined time after the operation, it is possible to eliminate a defect when resuming the continuous operation.
