限定的なものではなく、本発明はここに挙げた細部に限定されるものではない。Hearing aid receivers Description Technical Field The present invention Detailed description of the invention relates to a hearing aid for small receivers. Small receivers for use in prior art hearing aids and the like are known. Often such receivers are designed to have certain frequency sensitivity characteristics to achieve a particular result. For example, in US Pat. No. 5,608,901 of the Carson invention, many people discuss the predominant loss of hearing at high frequencies. Therefore, the Carlson invention proposes a dual output passage type hearing aid transducer provided with a pair of elongated acoustic transmission tubes exhibiting a high pass band. This receiver is very useful for users with high frequency hearing loss, but it effectively excludes low frequency transmission. In order for the user to hear low frequency sounds, a low frequency sound transmission channel is provided in parallel with the hearing aid. This low frequency sound transmission channel bypasses the hearing aid, allowing the user to hear the low frequency sound directly. While Carlson hearing aid transducers work satisfactorily for many purposes, elongated sound transmission tubes make further hearing aid miniaturization difficult. The present invention solves these problems. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a compact bandpass receiver for a hearing aid for use in combination with a hearing aid for the hearing impaired at high frequencies. According to the invention, the receiver comprises a housing with a D-shaped cross section, for example. This D-shaped configuration allows the receiver to be easily mounted within the cavity of the hearing aid. The diaphragm is provided with a plurality of peripheral edges. The diaphragm is disposed within the housing and forms first and second acoustic chambers within the housing. One of the peripheral edges of the diaphragm is pivotally fixed to the housing. The pivoted edge is further secured to the housing with an adhesive such as epoxy to prevent lateral movement. The other edge of the diaphragm is compliantly secured to the housing. An electromagnetic vibrator (motor) including an armature constitutes a part of the housing, and means for connecting the armature to the diaphragm is provided to move the diaphragm at a frequency according to an electric signal applied to the motor. First and second outlet ports extend through the housing. A first outlet port is acoustically coupled to the first chamber through the tube and a second outlet port is acoustically coupled to the second chamber. The first and second outlet ports provide an outlet path for acoustic vibrations produced by the movement of the diaphragm. The first and second acoustic chambers cooperate to cancel out low frequency acoustic waves and generate the high frequency acoustic waves of concern now. This phenomenon is better explained in the Carlson patent. The armature is connected to the diaphragm by a flexible compound such as a flexible RTV with A Shore hardness of 22 or less. Further, the receiver includes a tube located within the first acoustic chamber. The tube ends substantially flush with the first port. In another aspect of the invention, the above receiver is provided, but without the tube and first outlet port. Therefore, the acoustic wave of low frequency is not canceled and becomes a receiver having frequency sensitivity in a wide band. In still another aspect of the present invention, the two receivers are provided and are combined in a back-to-back relationship and are generally elliptical and emit twice the output of a single receiver. There is less vibration in this embodiment because each armature moves 180 ° out of phase. Other features and effects will be apparent from the following description based on the accompanying drawings. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention can be carried out in various embodiments, and a preferred embodiment will be described here with reference to the drawings, but this is merely an illustration of the idea of the present invention, and the present invention including a broad gist is the only embodiment. It should be understood that it is not limited to. Although the receiver of the Carlson invention works satisfactorily as a high frequency bandpass receiver, the two elongated tubes prevent miniaturization of the hearing aid. The frequency sensitivity of the Carlson receiver has three peaks. The middle peak is at 4.5 kHz, which is due to motor resonance. The lower peak occurs at 3.0 kHz, which is due to the resonance of the first elongated tube and first chamber combination. The upper peak is at 5.7 kHz, which is due to the resonance of the second elongated tube and second chamber combination. The elimination of the tube was considered as a method for further miniaturizing the Carlson receiver, but it was found that the resonance peaks of the lower and upper portions were eliminated, and the sensitivity of the receiver to all frequencies was deteriorated. The end of the receiver miniaturization design is to place 100 dbspl at 4 kHz in a 2cc cavity. Therefore, we also considered removing the second tube, removing the upper resonance peak (5.7 kHz) from the passband, and moving the first tube toward the housing. It is considered that this change can downsize the receiver while maintaining the lower (3 kHz) and middle (4.5 kHz) resonance peaks. By doing so, it was determined that the change in 4kHz sensitivity was too low. The 4kHz sensitivity occurs in the "valley" between the lower and middle peaks. It was considered to move these peaks together to bring them closer together and to raise the "valley" to the desired level. Generally it is to move the second or upper peak, which is by changing the size of the tube now in the housing. However, this does not give the desired result because changing the dimensions of the tube will also change the first frequency or lower resonance peak. Therefore, any improvement based on moving the second resonance peak frequency is nullified by the deleterious shift of the frequency of the first resonance peak. It has been noted in the present invention that the first resonant peak frequency can be increased by reducing the effective mass of the system as seen by the armature. The armature generally flexes around a point where the armature is attached to the housing. In the present invention, it has been found that the actual mass of the system as seen by the armature can be reduced as follows. That is, the diaphragm is attached to the housing of the receiver along the diaphragm edge opposite the point where the armature is joined to the diaphragm so that the diaphragm is effectively pivoted about a short lever arm. Conventionally, a diaphragm is driven by a drive rod connected to a motor armature when the diaphragm is pivotally attached to a housing. This drive rod compensates for the pivoting action of the diaphragm pivoted about a different axis than the slightly flexing armature. However, this miniaturized receiver does not have enough space for the drive rod. Accordingly, the present invention has developed a novel means of attaching an armature to a pivotable diaphragm, the attachment having a rigid body along the connecting axis and a flexible body along the shear axis. A more detailed description of the operation of the bandpass transducer is in the Carlson patent, which is incorporated herein by reference. In accordance with the present invention, a compact bandpass receiver 10 for a hearing aid 11 (FIG. 6) is shown in FIGS. As will be described in more detail below, receiver 10 is particularly compact and exhibits commercially satisfactory bandpass frequency sensitivity as shown in FIG. In the disclosed embodiment, the receiver 10 has a high frequency bandpass characteristic. The receiver 10 comprises an electromagnetic motor, generally indicated at 16, and a first housing portion 18. The electromagnetic motor 16 has a second housing part 17, a conventional coil 20, a magnetic housing 22 made of a conventional nickel / iron alloy layer 24 and two permanent magnets 26, and an armature 28. The second housing portion 17 is generally D-shaped and made of conventional nickel / iron alloy and has a substantially open end 17a and a closed end 17b. The armature 28 has a fixed end 28a and a free end 28b. The coil 20 is arranged in the second housing part 17. The armature fixed end 28a is fixed to the closed end 17b of the second housing portion 17 by a unique method such as welding. The magnetic housing 22 contacts the substantially open end 17a of the second housing portion 17 and is fixed to the open end 17a by projection welding. Laser welding is also conceivable. A 0.003 inch gap is provided between the armature 28 and the magnet 26. The first housing portion 18 is also generally D-shaped and has an open end 18a and a closed end 18b. The open end 18a faces the second housing portion 17 and contacts the magnetic housing 22, and the free end 28b extends into the first housing portion 18. The first housing portion 18 is also projection-welded or laser-welded to the magnetic housing 22. A support cup 34 (shown in phantom in FIG. 2) is placed within the housing portion 18 and a peripheral edge 36 is provided on each of the four walls 34 a of the acoustic housing portion 18. The total length of receiver 10 is 0.244 inches. The overall width at the bottom of receiver 10 is 0.118 inches. Diaphragm 40, which is generally quadrangular, comprises a generally rigid aluminum paddle 42 secured to a conventional diaphragm membrane 43. In some conventional diaphragms, the membrane overhangs the four sides of the paddle and is compliance connected in the receiver housing. In such known diaphragms, the diaphragms are effectively pivoted about the fixed end 28a of the armature 28 when acted upon by the respective armature. However, in the present invention, as with other conventional diaphragms, the membrane 43 overhangs the three sides of the paddle 42 and forms a flexible annular body 44 around these three sides. This annulus 44 therefore ends at three edges 40a. An annulus 44 around the edge 40a is secured to each of the peripheral edges 36 of the cup 34 to form a compliance connection therebetween. In other words, the paddle 42 is separated from the cup 34 by an annulus 44 along these three edges, which pattern is shown in FIG. 2A. The fourth edge 40b of the diaphragm 40 has no annular body. Paddle 42 extends to the inner edge of cup 34 as shown in FIG. 2B. Membrane 43 extends beyond the edge of paddle 42 and is secured to its respective perimeter 36. In other words, the paddle 42 is not separated from the cup 34 by the annular body 44 along the fourth edge 40b. Therefore, the fourth edge 40b is firmly fixed to the cup 34, not a compliant (flexible) connection. The diaphragm 40 is supported by the peripheral edge 36 of the cup 34 and is disposed across the first housing portion 18. The diaphragm 40 forms first and second acoustic chambers, generally designated 48 and 50. The second acoustic chamber 50 contains all air space within the electromagnetic motor. The three sides forming the annular body 44 of diaphragm 40 are compliantly bonded to perimeter 36 by a 0.0005 inch thick film such as urethane. The fourth edge 40b of the diaphragm 40 is generally rigid due to the same extending paddle 42 and rests along the remaining side of the peripheral edge 36. One or two drops of epoxy are applied to secure the fourth edge 40b of diaphragm 40 along the remaining side of edge 36 and eliminate unwanted resonances. It should be noted that this pivoting connection of diaphragm 40 reduces the amplitude of the receiver output. This is because the pivoted diaphragm has less air per armature momentum than conventional diaphragm compliance connections. However, this reduction in amplitude is considered a necessary sacrifice to obtain the required frequency sensitivity. In a conventional receiver with a pivoted diaphragm, the diaphragm was about 0.060 inches away from the armature, which were operatively connected by a drive rod. The drive rod is somewhat flexible and acts in a manner that accommodates the movement of the diaphragm along an arc that is different from the movement of the armature. However, in the present receiver 10, the distance between the armature 28 and the diaphragm is only about 0.002 to 0.003 inch, and there is not enough room for combination with the drive rod. Moreover, such shortened drive rods are too large in diameter-to-length ratio for sufficient deflection. Thus, in the present invention, armature free end 28b is compliantly bonded to diaphragm 40 by a flexible compound such as A Shore hardness 22 or less RTV. The diaphragm 40 is pivotally mounted about the rigid edge 40b by movement of the armature 28 at a frequency based on the electrical signal provided to the motor 16. Since the diaphragm 40 is pivotally mounted around the rigid edge 40b, the effective mass of the diaphragm 40 seen by the armature 28 is reduced and the frequency of the motor resonance peak is increased. Positioning embossments 54 are provided on each of the paddles 42 and membranes 43 of the diaphragm 40 to aid in the assembly of the receiver 10 by this position of RTV bonding the diaphragm 40 to the armature 28. First and second outlet ports 56, 58 extend through the housing portion 18. The first outlet port 56 is acoustically connected to the first chamber and the second outlet port 58 is acoustically connected to the second chamber. The first and second outlet ports 56, 58 extend substantially through the closed end 18b of the housing portion 18. A generally round tube 60 having a diameter of 0.018 inch is disposed within the first acoustic chamber 18. The tube 60 preferably has a total length of 0.1 inch, and its length and / or radius can be adjusted to adjust both peak frequencies. In particular, increasing the radius or decreasing the length of the tube 60 increases the frequency of each peak frequency. The construction of the receiver 10 described above can be a relatively simple linear assembly, in fact the receiver 10 consists of three subassemblies. The first subassembly comprises an armature 28 joined to the inner rear wall of the second housing part 17. Typically, conventional receiver armatures were part of the motor. As an additional support for the armature 28, the closed end 17b of the second housing portion 17 has a thickness of 0.006 inches and a side thickness of 0.005 inches. The first subassembly further has tabs 64 as electrical terminals. The second subassembly comprises a magnet housing 22, a magnet 26 and a coil 20. The magnets 26 are glued in the magnet housing 22 in a mutually separated relationship, and the coil 20 is bonded to the magnet housing 22. The second subassembly is unique in that the magnet housing 22 that acts as a flux return path forms part of the receiver housing. Although this design suffers from magnetic flux leakage, it greatly reduces the overall size of the receiver 10. The third subassembly comprises a diaphragm 40 fixed to the open end of the cup 34 and arranged in the first housing part 18. The third subassembly further comprises a tube 60 spot welded to the first housing portion 18. Accordingly, the receiver 10 can be linearly assembled by inserting the armature free end 28b of the first subassembly into the coil 20 of the second subassembly and laser welding the second housing portion 17 to the magnetic housing 22. At this time, the armature free end extends to the outside from the opposite end of the magnetic housing 22. An uncured liquid droplet of RTV is placed on the positioning embossing 54 of the paddle 42 and the first housing portion 18 is brought into engagement with the magnetic housing 22 and laser welded together. The armature free end 28b contacts the liquid RTV in a visually unneeded form, and the RTV is cured to complete the assembly. FIG. 6 will be described. This shows the state where the receiver 10 is provided inside the hearing aid 11. The hearing aid includes a shell 66, a vent 68, and an acoustic port 70. The vent 68 allows low-frequency sound below the pass frequency of the bandpass receiver 10 to pass. Although not shown, the sound port 70 allows sound from the receiver 10 to pass to the ear canal of the user. A receiver 10 'according to the second aspect of the invention is shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, which has the frequency sensitivity shown in FIG. The receiver 10 'has the same overall structure as the receiver 10 described above, but has the following differences. The main difference is the absence of tube 60 and its corresponding first port 56. Yet another difference is the lack of a rigid pivoting connection of the paddle of the diaphragm 40 to the fourth edge 40b of the cup 34. An annular body 44 surrounds all four edges of the diaphragm 40 and is compliance-connected to all four peripheral edges of the cup 34. As mentioned above, the pivotal connection of diaphragm 40 to cup 34 of receiver 10 as described above is to reduce the effective mass of the armature and increase the resonant frequency of receiver 10. This increase in resonant frequency is not necessary for this second described receiver 10 ', and more conventional compliance connections are used to connect the diaphragm to the cup to obtain maximum amplitude at the receiver output. Further modifications have been made to the second receiver 10 'and are described below. FIG. 10 shows a variation of receiver 10 ', with screen 100 located at port 58. The screen 100 works so as to smooth (braking) the peak of the resonance frequency as shown in FIG. FIG. 12 shows another variation of the receiver 10 ′, in which the rear cavity port 104 is provided in the second housing part 17. The rear cavity port 104 vents the second acoustic chamber 50 (see FIG. 1). Due to this ventilation, the air is not compressed in the second acoustic chamber 50, so that the output is increased and the resonance frequency is decreased. The rear cavities screen 106 is used to reduce the effective opening size of the rear cavities and thus change the output magnitude and resonance frequency. The installation of a variable mesh adjustable screen allows the user to adjust the output magnitude and resonant frequency. FIG. 13 shows the frequency sensitivity curve for a receiver 10 'having a 0.020 inch by 0.080 inch rear cavity port 104 covered with a rear cavity screen 106 having a mesh of 33% light transmission. By utilizing both the port screen 100 and the rear cavity screen 106 and changing the relative mesh density of the port screen 100 and the rear cavity screen 106, the sharpness of the resonance peak can be improved while changing the output magnitude and the resonance frequency. You can change. In another embodiment, two receivers 10 'are placed back to back to form a generally oval (in cross section) dual receiver 10 ", which is the single receiver 10' previously described. Has twice the output and still mechanical vibration is reduced. This is because the armature 28 of each receiver here moves 180 ° out of phase. Therefore, the center of mass of the dual receiver 10 "remains fixed. This reduction in vibration is significant because the vibration is picked up and fed back by the hearing aid 9 microphone (not shown). The final point of view lies in various embodiments of boots that are placed at the receiver port end to prevent earwaxes from entering the receiver port: The first boot 110 is shown in Figure 16a, which is a molded urethane form. About 0.001 inches thick and elastic enough to fit into the port end of the receiver, this first boot 110 has a depth d of approximately 0.050 to 0.070 inches and appears to be sufficient to hold this boot in the receiver. The earwax that collects in the boot from the user's ear canal can be easily wiped off with the user's finger or other device. 16c, the second boot 114 comprises an elastic cup 118 and a urethane film, preferably the cup 118 is fixed to the receiver with an adhesive The third boot 126 is similar to the second boot, but the urethane film and spacers. It includes screens 128 spaced apart by a ring 130. As mentioned above, the screen on the acoustic port can also be used for various frequency sensitivity changes, but since the acoustic port faces the user's ear. The screen often becomes clogged with ears, which degrades the sound quality of the receiver. The third boot 126 has an earwax protector for the screen which can be easily wiped. That is, it will be appreciated that other specific forms may be practiced without departing from the core features, and thus all of the examples provided herein are described. Of not limiting in what, the present invention is not intended to be limited to the details given herein.
