(57)【要約】 【課題】 この発明は硬質ポリエチレン製のら旋管とら
旋管との接合装置に係る。 【解決手段】 内部にら旋条を形成し接着材と発熱体と
で構成したIH樹脂ヒーターを先端部を対接させた2本
のら旋管のら旋条に巻着して接合部を形成し、この接合
部に高周波誘導加熱を施してら旋管を接合するものであ
る。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【発明の属する技術分野】この発明は接着性樹脂(adhe
sive polymer)と高周波誘導発熱体とで形成されたIH
樹脂とこのIH樹脂を用いた管と管との接合装置に関
し、より具体的にはら旋管とら旋管との接合装置に係
る。

【従来の技術】この出願と同一出願人によって特開平7
−139681号で技術開示しているIH樹脂ヒーター
を用いた合成樹脂管の接続手段は図12で示すように、
高周波誘導発熱体で形成した発熱層1’を合成樹脂材1
2’と磁性材料例えばFe系粉体11’とを混練して形
成し、図13に示すようにこの発熱層1’を継手部材
2’に挿着し外部にセットした高周波磁界発送装置Eを
作動させて発熱層1’と対接する2本の合成樹脂パイプ
3’,3’および継手部材2’のそれぞれの部位を溶融
個化させて結合するものであった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】従来のIH樹脂ヒータ
ーを用いて接合される合成樹脂パイプはいずれも、接合
する両合成樹脂継手部材および発熱層の合成樹脂材のそ
れぞれの材質はいずれも同質か、これと親和性のある材
質に限定されるものである。この発明は接合すべき合成
樹脂パイプおよび継手部材とが異質材であっても接続を
行えるようなIH樹脂ヒーターを提供しようとするもの
である。

【課題を解決するための手段】この発明に係る高周波誘
導発熱体の発熱層を図1,図2および図3により説明す
れば次のとおりである。図1に示すIH樹脂ヒーターを
形成する発熱層1は高周波発熱体12と接着材11とを
混練した構造とされている。図2に示す発熱層1は発熱
体12をコア形状に形成したものであり、図3に示す発
熱層1は発熱体12を平板形状に形成したものである。
【0005】発熱体12は高周波誘導発熱体であるF
e,Fe−Ni合金などが用いられている。接着材11
はポリエチレンまたはポリプロピレンあるいはポリオレ
フィンを不飽和カルボン酸あるいはその無水物で変性し
た組成物あるいは酸価が10〜100当量/106 gで
平均分子量5000以下の非晶性重合ポリエステルより
なるもので、商品名「ポリタック」(出光石油化学
製)、「バイロン」(東洋紡精製)、「アドマー」(三
井石油化学製)、あるいは「ボンドファースト」(住友
化学工業製)(以上いずれも株式会社)などの熱接着材
であり、多層容器例えば食品容器などの中間層として利
用するもので公知材料である。なお金属に対する接着材
として特開平1−15379号として技術開示されてい
る。また上記接着材を用いた高周波誘導発熱材を備えた
IH樹脂ヒーターに関してはこの出願人による特願平8
−17010号で技術開示されている。

【発明の実施の形態】この発明に係る発熱体は比較的低
周波または低電圧下のヒステリシス損発熱あるいはうず
電流発熱を発生させることで発熱効果を得ようとするも
ので高周波誘導発熱体の具体的態様を以下の添付図面に
より説明すれば次のとおりである。図4乃至図8に示す
発熱体1はいずれもコア形状を示したもので図4は発熱
体12を鉄性の線材13を用いて格子型に形成したもの
である。
【0007】図5に示す発熱体12は鉄性の線材13を
織成または編組したものである。なお上記両網目を密に
することで発熱効果を良好なものとすることができる。
図6に示す発熱体12は鉄性の円筒体13として形成し
たものである。図7に示す発熱体12は鉄性の円筒体1
3に多数の孔14を形成したものである。図8に示す発
熱体12は鉄性の粉体を焼結して円筒体13として形成
したもので円筒体表面は多数の突起15が存在するの
で、発熱表面積を大きくすると共に補強効果を得られる
ものである。

【実施例】この発明の実施例を合成樹脂性のら旋管に適
用した場合につき説明すれば次のとおりである。またこ
の実施例における合成樹脂性ら旋管は地中電線,通信ケ
ーブルあるいは光ファイバーなどを地下に埋設する際、
前記各電線ケーブルなどを格納してこれを保護するため
の保護管として利用されるもので硬質ポリエチレン材で
形成されている。
【0009】図9は硬質ポリエチレン製の2本のら旋管
を接合する場合にIH樹脂ヒーターを用いた接合装置を
示したもので、2本のら旋管2,3は先端を対接した状
態でIH樹脂ヒーター(発熱層)1によって外表面を保
持固定されている。同図から明らかなように、発熱体1
は内部に形成したら旋条18をそれぞれのら旋管のら旋
条21,31に巻着して両ら旋管2,3に対する接合部
材として機能している。
【0010】また発熱層1の接着材11内には発熱体1
2が同心状に埋設されている。この状態における発熱体
1に対して外部にセットした高周波電源と磁界発生コイ
ルを有する高周波磁界発生装置Eを作動すれば発熱層中
の鉄性の発熱体12が発熱し、これによって接着材11
が溶融し、この溶融液とら旋管のポリエチレンとが融合
するので、前記接合部は冷却後固化することで両管は封
密状に接合する。
【0011】〔他の実施例〕図10は硬質ポリエチレン
管の壁厚が比較的薄いら旋管にIH樹脂ヒーターを適用
する場合を示したものである。この実施例の場合は発熱
層1内に埋設されている発熱体1は2本のら旋管2,3
のら旋条21,31に対してら旋条の表面からほぼ等距
離に位置するように発熱層内に形成されている。
【0012】その詳細を図11により説明すれば次のと
おりである。図11に示すように、壁厚hをもつら旋管
の凸凹面19に当接する発熱層1のら旋条凸凹面18か
ら所定距離Sを持つように発熱体12を接着材11内に
形成したものである。なおh≒Sに形成されている。
【0013】このように発熱体を形成することによって
図10における高周波磁界発生装置Eを作動すれば、ポ
リエチレン管のら旋条の壁厚hと接着材のら旋条表面か
らの発熱体の埋設距離Sとがほぼ同距離に位置設定する

溶融量および熱伝導の関係からら旋管の凹凸部を破壊す
ることなく両ら旋管を接合できるものである。
【0014】なお前記実施例においては鉄性の線材のコ
ア形状を選択することによって比較的低周波あるいはヒ
ステリシス損またはうず電流に対応できるものが得られ
るものである。また接合すべきら旋管が異種材管であっ
ても接着材を選択することで接合できるものである。

【発明の効果】この発明は硬質ポリエチレン製のら旋管
の接合に際して接着材を溶融材とするIH樹脂ヒーター
(発熱層)を適用したもので特にら旋管の壁厚の比較的
厚い場合に対しては当然のこと比較的薄い場合にも適用
できる接合装置である。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 硬質ポリエチレン製のら旋管の接合に際
    して2本のら旋管のそれぞれのら旋条に、巻着するら旋
    条を形成した接着材中に発熱体を埋設したIH樹脂ヒー
    ターを巻着して接合部を形成し、この接合部に対して高
    周波誘導加熱を行うことで前記接合部を溶融固化して、
    ら旋管を接合するようにしたことを特徴とするIH樹脂
    ヒーターとこれを用いたら旋管の接合装置。
