However, the above system has the following problems. Wireless controller 11 and wireless handy terminal 1
When a transmission error occurs in the wireless communication between the three, in the related art, the head data is retransmitted again. Therefore, it takes a lot of time to retransmit, and in some cases, a transmission error may occur again during the retransmission. In wireless communication, the maximum connection time is defined by a protocol, and a large amount of data cannot be transferred at one time in the conventional technology. When an error occurred in wireless communication, it was not possible to accurately convey a message such as the error occurrence status to the operator. When an error occurs in a wireless handy terminal or the like, in the related art, an alarm notification is given by a buzzer sound or a vibration of the device, but it is not always possible to select an optimal notification method according to the operating environment and each operator. In particular, when using in a store where the operation mode changes drastically between day and night, such as in a Futari store where the work content differs between day and night, or when multiple operators share a wireless handy terminal,
It is convenient to easily switch the notification method, but the prior art cannot switch the notification method. In the prior art, except for the use of the transfer station, the only communication means is usually radio wave communication. Therefore, when radio wave communication frequently fails due to interference, noise, etc., the operator has no choice but to transfer data through the transfer station. There was no work efficiency.

When the above process is completed, the process waits until data is received from the wireless terminal 13 in step S3, and when the data is received, in step S4, FIG.
Refer to the error detection code of the communication data block shown in to determine whether there is a communication error. If there is a communication error, the process proceeds to step S6, and the negative response shown in FIG. 7B is sent to the wireless terminal 13 (the response code is N
AK code). At that time, the communication path at the time of reception is used. For example, when data is received by radio waves, a response is sent out by radio waves. Then, it goes to step S11, discards the received data as error data, and returns to step S3. If there is no communication error, the process proceeds to step S5, and the normal response shown in FIG.

In step S7, the terminal management table 11b corresponding to the wireless terminal is searched from the receiver ID of the received data block. Then, step S8
In, the block number of the received data block is 0
If the block NO is 0, the process proceeds to step S10. If the block number is not 0, the received block number is the terminal management table 11b.
It is determined whether or not it matches the NEXT reception block NO stored in. If they do not match, the procedure proceeds to step S11, where the received data is discarded as error data, and the procedure returns to discard S3. If the block NO is 0 or the block NO matches the NEXT reception block NO, the process proceeds to step S10, the data part of the received data block is stored in the reception data buffer 11d of the corresponding terminal, and the reception of the terminal management table 11b is performed. The data count is updated and the NEXT reception block NO is incremented by one.

Next, in step S12, it is judged whether the data attribute of the received data block is "0" (communication of only one block) or "L" (final block).
If it is not 0 "or" L ", the process returns to step S3 to receive the next data block as described above. When all the data are received as described above, the received data is transmitted by the main body in step S13. It is sent to the POS main body side via the buffer 11c, and in step S14,
The received data count of the terminal management table 11b is set to "
0 ", NEXT transmission block NO is cleared to" 0 ", and the process returns to step S3. As described above, the data block is received until the data attribute of the received data block becomes" 0 "or" L ". NEXT reception block NO for each
Is incremented by 1 and the received data block NO is N
By determining whether it matches the EXT reception block NO, when a transmission error occurs, the wireless terminal 13 side can correctly receive even if transmission is started from the block in which the error occurred.

Next, in step S11 of FIG. 15, NE
The XT transmission block NO is cleared to 0, the retransmission counter is cleared to 0, and it is determined in step S12 whether the communication method is radio wave. If the communication method is infrared, in step 14, the infrared transmission / reception mechanism 1
33c is started and it progresses to step S16. When the communication method is radio wave, the communication channel with the wireless controller 11 is acquired, the transmission monitoring timer of the management table 13a is set, and the process proceeds to step S16. In step S16, the ID of the wireless controller 11 is set in the temporary transmission buffer 13f as the receiving device ID, and the ID of the self terminal is set as the transmitting device ID. In step S17, it is determined whether the transmission data amount is 1 block or less. If the transmission data is less than 1 block,
The data attribute is set to "0" (communication of only one block). If it is not less than one block, the data attribute is set to "F" (indicating the first block). In the transmission process described later, if the data transmission process continues, the process proceeds to step S18, and it is determined whether the remaining data amount is 1 block or less. If it is 1 block or less, the data attribute is "L" ( Set to the last block), and if it is not less than 1 block, the data attribute is "M"
(Indicates the intermediate block).

32 is a flow chart showing a process when a normal response is not obtained and a transfer error occurs in 31. In FIG. 18, when a transfer error occurs, the retransmission counter is incremented by 1 in step S1, and it is determined in step S2 whether the value of the retransmission counter in the management table 13a is M or less. Then, when the value of the retransmission counter is M or less, the process proceeds to step S4, and the message in the first stage of the error message table is displayed. For example, in FIG.
In the case of Example 2 of 0, “Transfering again” is displayed. Then, the process goes to "retransmission 1" in FIG. 16 to perform the data transmission process as described above. The value of the retransmission counter is M + 1.
In the above case, it goes to step S6 and determines whether the value of the retransmission counter is N or less. The value of the retransmission counter is N
In the following cases, the process proceeds to step S5 to display the second message in the error message table. For example, in the case of Example 2 in FIG. 10, “Please send near the wireless controller” is displayed. Then, Fig. 16
The “retransmission 1” is performed and the above-described data transmission process is performed.

When the value of the retransmission counter is N + 1 or more, the procedure goes to step S6, and it is determined whether the communication method is radio wave. When the value is radio wave, the procedure goes to step S8 to release the communication channel with the wireless controller. Then, the process proceeds to step S9 to display the message in the third stage of the error message table. For example, in the case of Example 2 of FIG.
"Set to transfer station" is displayed.
If the communication method is infrared, go to step S8 to stop the infrared transmission / reception mechanism, and in step S9,
As described above, the message in the third stage of the error message table is displayed. Then, in step S10, it is determined whether the error notification management table valid flag (see FIG. 11) of the management table 13a is "1",
If the valid flag is not "1", the process proceeds to step S15 in FIG. If the valid flag is "1",
In step S11, it is determined whether or not to use the buzzer. When using the buzzer, the tone color / volume is determined based on the setting of the error notification management table 13p, and the buzzer mechanism 136 is activated. If the buzzer is not used in step S11, the process goes to step S13 to determine whether to use the vibration mechanism 137. If the vibration mechanism 137 is not used, the process goes to step S15 in FIG. Also,
When using the vibrating mechanism 137, go to step S14, and based on the setting of the error notification management table 13p,
The vibration frequency / vibration intensity is determined, and the vibration mechanism 137 is activated.

Next, in step S15 of FIG. 19, it is determined whether or not there is a stop instruction from the operator (operation of the "confirmation key" in FIG. 3 (b)). The message is erased, the buzzer / vibration is stopped together, and it is determined in step S24 whether or not a resending instruction has been issued. When the operator does not give a stop instruction, the buzzer is rung for the ringing time set in steps S16, S18, and S19, and then the buzzer is stopped, and the vibration for the operation time set in steps S20 to S22 is performed. Activate the mechanism. When both the buzzer and the vibration mechanism stop, the process goes from step S23 to step S24 to determine whether there is a resend instruction (whether the "resend key" in FIG. 3 is pressed), and if there is a resend instruction, Go to Retransmission 2 in FIG. 14 and transmit data as described above. In this case, since the message of the third stage has been displayed, the operator sets the wireless terminal 13 in the transfer station 12 and data is transmitted from the transfer station to the wireless controller 11. In the above embodiment, when a transfer error occurs, data is retransmitted by radio waves when communicating by radio waves and infrared rays when communicating by infrared rays. When communication occurs and a transfer error occurs, the communication method is automatically switched to retransmit by infrared when retransmitting, and when communication occurs by infrared and a transfer error occurs, it is retransmitted by radio wave when retransmitting. You may In the above case, the current communication method is displayed on the display unit 102 of the wireless terminal 13.

As described above, in the present invention,
The following effects can be obtained. (1) When a transmission error occurs, the wireless handy terminal retransmits the transmission data stored in the transmission buffer from the block number data stored in the transmission data block number storage means to the wireless controller, and also the wireless controller When the controller receives the retransmission data, the controller receives the block number of the received data and the ID of the wireless handy terminal, the block number stored in the received data block number storage means, and the ID.
Since the ID stored in the storage means is collated and the data received from the wireless handy terminal is stored in the reception buffer in addition to the data already stored, when a transmission error occurs, an error is generated. It is possible to retransmit the data after the generated portion, the retransmission can be performed in a short time, and the possibility of a transmission error again can be reduced.

(2) The wireless handy terminal is provided with a communication time monitoring timer for monitoring the communication time, and the communication is temporarily stopped before the communication time exceeds the maximum connection time. Since the transmission data is retransmitted to the wireless controller, a large amount of data can be transmitted without making the operator aware of the divided transmission. (3) When a transmission error occurs, the message data management table is referred to and the message according to the number of retransmissions is displayed. Therefore, the message according to the error occurrence state can be displayed. Further, the message can be flexibly changed by setting the message data management table. Therefore, the operator's load can be reduced and reliable data transmission can be realized. (4) When a transmission error occurs, the alarm is notified to the operator by the notification method set in the error notification management table, so that the optimum alarm notification suitable for the operator can be performed. Further, by setting an error notification management table, it is possible to notify an alarm according to the operating environment and operator. Therefore, it is possible to flexibly deal with use in a store whose operation mode is completely changed, such as a double-cropped store where day and night operations are different, and sharing with a plurality of operators. (5) Since a plurality of error notification management tables are provided and the error notification management table to be used is selected so that the alarm notification method can be set for each operator or each operating environment, a plurality of error notification management tables can be set. By setting various alarm notification methods in, it is possible to easily switch the alarm notification method according to the operator and the operation mode. For example, at Ninosakuten for day / night business,
If you register in advance at stores / rooms and at operators A / B / C at regular stores, you can easily switch the alarm notification method whenever you want to use the wireless handy terminal according to your usage situation and preferences. You can (6) An infrared communication device is installed in a place where radio communication is relatively difficult due to interference or noise, and is connected to the wireless controller 1 by wire. Data is transmitted via the infrared transmission / reception mechanism of the infrared communication device and the wireless handy terminal 3. Since it is configured to transmit and receive, the wireless handy terminal can be used even in an area where radio communication often fails due to interference or noise. (7) The wireless handy terminal is provided with a recording means for recording the communication result and a means for deciding whether to use the radio wave or the infrared ray communication method based on the recording result to determine the success probability. Since the communication is performed by the high communication method, the optimum communication method according to the operating environment can be used and the efficient communication can be performed. (8) When wireless or infrared communication cannot be performed by the wireless handy terminal, one communication mode is automatically switched to the other communication mode and communication is performed again. Therefore, the communication system according to the operating environment is automatically selected. It becomes possible to do.
