記溶剤を使用できぬ事は重大問題であり、その代替溶剤
の開発が切望されてきた。また、アスファルト抽出溶剤
としては、石油系溶剤、アルコール系溶剤等各種考えら
れるが、環境、衛生、性能、生産性の面から判断した場
合、いずれも十分なものは無かった。
