Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the opening of a filter freely corresponding to fluid to be filtered by a method in which doughnut-shaped upper and lower flanges which face each other at a distance nearly equal to the length of an inner cylinder are engaged on the periphery of the inner cylinder, and numbers of thin lines are stretched between the upper and lower flanges to form a filter surface which is cylindrical as a whole. SOLUTION: A filter main body 6 is formed to be cylindrical as a whole by a method in which thin lines, for example numbers of thin stainless wires 9, are stretched concentrically to form parallel rows between doughnut-shaped upper and lower flanges 7, 8 which are engaged on the periphery of an inner cylinder 2 and located to face each other at a distance nearly equal to the length of the inner cylinder 2, and the whole peripheral surface of the main body 6 which is closely contacted in this way by the wires 9 is made a filter surface 13. When the upper flange 7 is turned, the filter surface 13 of the cylinder is twisted in the circumferential direction like a squeezed mop by the numbers of wires 9, the gap between the wires 9 is made narrower, and the opening of the filter surface 13 can be adjusted by the rotational angle of the upper flange 7.

2. Description of the Related Art A filter is a device for effectively separating solid phase particles suspended in a fluid by providing a pressure difference on both sides of a partition wall through which a fluid (gas, liquid) containing a different phase passes. Conventionally, various filters have been put to practical use and proposed in many fields.

However, since the fluid to be treated is specified in all conventional filters, the size of the filter mesh of the filter medium is also fixed, and the size of the filter mesh cannot be freely adjusted, and the filter medium cannot be adjusted. When clogging occurs, it is common to use a high-pressure pump to backwash or replace the filter as a cartridge type.

Reference numeral 6 denotes a filter body mounted on the outer side of the inner cylinder 2, and the filter body 6 is fitted to the outer periphery of the inner cylinder 2 and faces each other with a space substantially equal to the length of the inner cylinder 2 facing each other. As a thin wire, a large number of thin stainless wires 9 having a diameter of, for example, 10 to 30 μm are concentrically stretched in parallel between a plurality of rows (four rows in the figure) to form a cylindrical shape as a whole between the upper and lower flanges 7 and 8 of the mold. As described above, the entire peripheral surface of the filter body 6 that is densely packed with the wires 9 serves as the filtering surface 13.

When filtering suspended water such as bath water, however, the handle 12 is rotated as described above, and the cylindrical filtering surface 1 constituted by the wire 9 of the filter body 6 is used.
3 is twisted in the circumferential direction to adjust the size of the filter mesh (that is, the interval between the wire rods 9), and the inlet 4 is inserted into the body 1.
If it is made to flow in from, it will be filtered by the filtration surface 13 and will be discharged to the outside as clean water from the lower discharge port 5 of the inner cylinder 2 through the slit (through hole) 3 (see FIG. 2).

When the filter surface 13 is clogged, as shown in FIG. 3, the handle 12 is rotated in the reverse direction to untwist the filter surface 13 to widen the filter mesh, and then the discharge port 5 is opened. If the water flows through the inner cylinder 2 so that the water flows backward, the dirt adhering to the outside of the filtration surface 13 can be discharged together with the fresh water from the inlet 4 of the body 1, and the filter body 6 can be replaced. Also, there is no need to use a high-pressure pump or the like for back washing.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION The filter for fluid filtration of the present invention is as described above, and (a) filtration of a filter medium formed into a cylindrical shape by a thin wire such as a stainless wire that is stretched in parallel between the upper and lower flanges and is densely packed. By twisting the surface in the direction of its circumference like a "squeezing cloth" by an arbitrary rotation angle,
The size of the filtration mesh can be freely adjusted according to the fluid to be treated. (B) When the filtration surface is clogged, the twist of the filtration surface is released to expand the filtration mesh, By changing the direction of the circulating water channel, it is possible to easily backwash, and there is no need to use a high-pressure pump for backwashing. (C) Also, the cylindrical filtration surface can be changed according to the fluid to be treated. By selecting the type of thin line to configure,
It can be used for various fluid filtration. (D) Moreover, if a strong wire such as stainless wire or nylon thread is used for the thin wire as the filter material, it can be used permanently by repeating back washing as described above. It is possible to save the labor and cost of replacing the filter cartridge as in the conventional case, and the like.
