るため加熱炉原単位の悪化、手入れ処理コストアップ等
大きなデメリットが発生する。鋼板や鋳片の反り矯正技
術としては、特開平5−32364号公報、特開昭62
−34616号公報等がある。

該反り計の情報も考慮して冷却装置の冷却条件を制御可
能な冷却制御装置を設けたことを特徴とする(4)記載

い出したものである。即ち、ホットスカーフ前で図1に
示す様に、鋳片長手方向で鋳片前端及び又は後端が中央
より上がっている場合(以降上反りと称す)は、鋳片1
の下面3より冷却(例えば水冷)し(図1(a))、逆
に鋳片長手方向で鋳片前端及び又は後端部が中央部より
下がっている場合(以降下反りと称す)は鋳片1の上面
3より冷却(例えば水冷)する(図1(b))事によ
り、鋳片冷却側の熱収縮により鋳片反り矯正が可能であ
る事を見出した。また、反り矯正を比較的早く行なうに
は、冷却側表面温度降下量を100℃以上確保する事が
望ましい。

り、上面冷却用電動弁9を開にして上面冷却装置7にて
該素材の上面冷却を行なう。また、冷却時間を決定する
にあたり、上述した様に反り検出装置10の値からシー
ケンサ11で一義的に決定する方法とは別に、冷却中の
反り量を反り検出装置12を用いて随時検知し、反り量
が目標値以下になるまで冷却する様に冷却制御装置13
で制御する方法も可能である。
