Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a radio guidance unit for allowing a visually handicapped person to walk freely and autonomously with no aid of an intimate person or a guide dog. CONSTITUTION: An electric designation signal is delivered from a sound signal generator 1 through a transmitter 2 to an antenna 4 for transmitting a walking guide radio wave, an antenna 5 for transmitting a border indication radio wave, and an antenna 6 for transmitting external obstacle indication radio wave and radiated therefrom into the air. The designation signal is received by a receiver 10 built in a walking guide stick 7 of a visually handicapped person 12 walking on a pavement and then delivered to a earphone 11 carried by the person.

EXAMPLES Examples will be described with reference to the drawings.
In FIG. 1, when the sidewalk 13 for the visually impaired is set in the center, and the environment is set as the road 14 on the right side and the obstacle 17 outside the sidewalk such as buildings on the left side, the sound wave signal embedded in the ground is generated. The device 1 transmits an induction electric signal for instructing a visually impaired person and an electric signal for danger prevention from a transmitter 2 through a power supply line 3 for transmission. Prevention radio wave transmission antenna 5
Also, from the sidewalk obstacle obstacle prevention radio wave transmission antenna 6,
Receiving the internal equipment of the walking stick through the walking guidance electric wave reception antenna 8 which is mounted on the tip of the walking guidance stick 7 that radiates a certain range of directional radio waves into the air and is carried by a visually handicapped person 12 walking on the ground road surface. Similarly, a receiver 10 mounted in the cane receives an instruction reception signal of a directional radio wave radiated in the air from a power supply line 9 for use by an earphone 11 carried by a visually handicapped person to sense the hearing. Also, by a method such as a tactile sense that gives vibration to the walking handshake,
It is a wireless guiding device and facility that provides smooth walking guidance for visually impaired persons and high-safety risk prevention instructions.

The embodiment shown in FIG. 3 is a bird's-eye view in which a visually impaired person is guided by a walking cane 7 wirelessly alone on a sidewalk where a visually impaired walking wireless guidance device for pedestrian separation is installed. is there. Receiving the walking guidance radio wave at the tip of the walking guidance cane 7 carried by the visually impaired person on the upper road surface of the instruction radio wave radiated from the walking guidance radio wave transmission antenna 4 embedded in the ground installed on the sidewalk 13. In this example, the earphone 11 senses the strength of the indicating radio wave radiated in the air with the antenna 8 while the guided walking is being performed. In addition, when you approach a branch point, you can receive an announcement for pedestrian crossing 15, straight ahead, etc. for a right turn. In addition, when a visually impaired person moves away from the walking guidance radio wave transmitting antenna 8 buried in the ground, the pedestrian road boundary danger preventing radio wave transmitting antenna 5 buried in the ground is provided at the pedestrian road boundary 16 with the right roadway 14. There is an obstacle 1 on the left side of the building
This is an example in which a radio wave transmitting antenna 6 for preventing obstacle danger outside the sidewalk for notifying the user 7 is provided, and smooth walking guidance is being performed while protecting the safety of the visually impaired.
