Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent s trouble in a printer and printing defects owing to non- detection of presence of paper by an optical sensor of a tractor or paper powder arising from the state static electricity and the paper powder are generated by friction owing to contact of continuous form to the tractor in the printer. CONSTITUTION: A tractor of the printer is so mechanized that a tractor pin 3 has a structure of a steplike difference in level, paper 1 is received on the step, and by removing contact of the paper 1 to a tractor body 4, static electricity and paper powder are prevented from occurring.

In the tractor mechanism of the conventional printing apparatus as described above, when the tractor is provided with an optical sensor to determine whether the paper is present or absent due to static electricity due to friction between the continuous paper and the tractor, Since paper dust is adsorbed on the sensor and the sensor does not function, it is impossible to judge whether or not there is paper. In addition, the paper dust penetrates into the inside of the printing device, causing troubles in the printing device and defective printing.

Next, the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1 is an external side view showing an embodiment of the present invention,
2 is a front view thereof, and FIG. 3 is a top view thereof. Referring to FIGS. 1, 2 and 3, the continuous paper 1 mounted on the tractor body 4 is printed by the print head 6 mounted on the carrier 8 on the platen 7 passing between the paper guides 5. By the printing / line feed operation of the printing device, the tractor body 4 rotates in the direction of arrow A for feeding the paper. A tractor sensor 9 composed of an optical sensor is attached to the tractor body 4 to detect the presence or absence of the continuous paper 1 in the tractor body 4. The user sets the continuous paper 1 on the tractor body 4 by hooking the feed holes 10 at the left and right ends of the continuous paper 1 on the tractor pin 3 and closing the tractor cover 2 on the feed holes 10. The tractor pin 3 has a structure having a step-like step. Therefore, the contact portions of both the continuous paper 1 and the tractor pin 3 when setting the continuous paper 1 are the feed holes 10 when viewed in FIG.
And a dotted line portion showing the tractor pin 3 below the continuous paper 1 only. Therefore, the friction caused by the contact between the tractor body 4 and the continuous paper 1 caused by the printing / line feed operation of the printer does not occur, but only by the contact with the tractor pin 3.

As described above, according to the present invention,
Since the continuous paper is only in contact with the tractor pin by providing the paper feed tractor pin having a step, it is possible to suppress the generation of static electricity and paper dust due to friction. Therefore, the presence / absence of paper by the optical sensor of the tractor body portion due to the paper dust can be normally detected, the paper dust does not enter the inside of the printing device, and the printing device does not cause any trouble or defective printing.
