Abstract

PURPOSE: To connect a connector for a filter of a filter connector for a circuit board without relying on soldering. CONSTITUTION: Spring housing grooves 2 are arranged with respective pin contacts in an upper part of a conductor holding insulator 23 through which pin contacts 9 penetrate, and washer-shaped springs are fitted in the respective grooves, and are contacted with the respective pin contacts. A capacitor array 16 which has a capacitor electrode and whose upper surface becomes a grand electrode 17 is placed in a position corresponding to the respective washer springs above them, and the electrodes and the washer springs are contacted with each other, and this is pressed down by a grand plate 12, and its lower fixing end 14 is inserted into a grand plate fixing groove 8, and is fastened by a metallic screw 21. Therefore, the grand electrode of the capacitor array 16 is put in the same grounding electric potential with a grand surface of a circuit board 19.

The operation of the circuit board filter connector of the present invention having the above construction will be described below. The filter connector for a circuit board according to the present invention includes a conductor holding insulator, through which a plurality of conductors (contacts) for contact-connecting a printed conductor of a circuit board and a conductor of an external plug pass, separately from the conductor penetration insulator. An insertion hole is provided for each of the through conductors, and an elastic contact that partially protrudes if not pressed is inserted into this conductor insertion hole, and each capacitor electrode on the electrode surface of the capacitor array makes contact with this contact. Since the capacitor array is fixed by the pressing ground plate that presses and fixes it so that the ground plane becomes the ground potential, each conductor that penetrates the conductor holding insulator without soldering is connected via the capacitor. Grounded, it is possible to configure a filter connector in which the capacitor serves as a filter element.

One end of each capacitor is connected to a common ground plane, that is, the ground electrode 17 in FIG. 7C, and the other end is provided for each capacitor on the electrode surface opposite to the ground electrode 17. It is connected to the capacitor electrode 18 that is connected. The interval between the capacitor electrodes is aligned with the interval between the spring storage grooves 2. Such a capacitor array 1
When 6 is inserted into the capacitor storing groove 3 on the conductor holding insulator 23 with the electrode surface facing downward, each washer-shaped spring 11 and each capacitor electrode 18 come into contact with each other, and each pin contact 9 corresponds to each washer spring 11. In this state, the ground plate 12, which is a pressing ground plate, has its front fixed end 13 inserted into the ground plate insertion groove 4 of the plug connector housing 1, and the lower fixed end 14 of the ground plate 12 is inserted. It is inserted in the ground plate fixing groove 8 and is fixed so as to be tightened together with the ground lug 6 by the metal screw 21. Since the lower surface of this portion of the circuit board 19 is the ground surface 20 at the ground potential, the ground plate is also at the ground potential through the metal screw and the ground lug 6.

By the way, the upper surface of the capacitor array 16 placed in the capacitor storing groove 3 is a ground plane, and the elasticity of the washer-shaped spring 11 fitted in the spring storing groove causes a force to push the capacitor array 16 upward. Therefore, the ground surface of the capacitor array 16 is pressed against the lower surface of the ground plate 12 and comes into contact therewith to be at the ground potential. That is, each pin contact 9 and the circuit board 19
Since a capacitor is connected between the ground plane of and, it functions as a filter that attenuates unnecessary high frequency components.

As described above, in the substrate filter connector of the present invention, the capacitor array is used as the capacitor for the filter, and the connection with the connector conductor is not the conventional soldering but the elastic contact. Therefore, even if it is a multi-core connector, it can be installed all at once in the connector, and it can be installed and removed with a very simple operation, and even after the connector body is completely mounted on the circuit board.・ There is an advantage that it can be easily removed. As a result, even if there are multiple conductors as in the past, 1
Compared to soldering for each conductor, the number of man-hours required for assembly can be significantly reduced, and the man-hours can be reduced at the maintenance and inspection stage because the mounting and dismounting are simple.
