継ぎ手の先端にチップに被嵌するホルダーを圧着すると
共に継ぎ手後方の軸心に弁室が設けられて、弁室の後端
にテーパー状又は球面状のボール受け座が設けられてボ
ール受け座に密接可能とするボール弁が上記弁室内に遊
嵌されて成り、上記ホルダーの軸心にチップが内軸部に
より固定されて、該内軸部の後端に所要数のリブが設け
られて上記弁室の前端に位置され、更に、弁室の後方段
部に後端部を当接した状態で前方にスプリングが附勢さ
れて、スプリングの先端でチップ先端部に回転自在に抱
持された先端ボールの背面を押圧して先端ボールがチッ
プのボール抱持部の内縁に密接され、チップ側が上向き
の時に上記ボール弁がボール受け座に密接して導孔が密
閉され、チップ側が下向きの時に上記密閉状態が解除さ
れると共に上記リブの後端にボール弁が当接して導孔、
弁室、リブとリブの間に形成された溝等を通じてチップ
内にインクが流入するように構成されたことを特徴とす
るボールペン。
