Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 静電蒸着塗装などの際に螺子穴に塗料が付着
するの的確に防止でき、脱着も簡便に行える螺子穴遮蔽
具を提供する。 【構成】 本体３を外面が螺子穴２と嵌合する筒状に形
成し、本体３の基端部を遮蔽部４で閉塞し、本体３の先
端部に螺子穴２より小径の先細りテーパー部５を設け、
本体３の基端部に張り出し部６を設ける。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は塗装時に螺子穴に塗料が
付着するのを防止する螺子穴遮蔽具に関するものであ
る。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】現在、塗装を行う場合、焼き付け塗装や
静電蒸着塗装などが一般的であり、これらは対象物に対
し均一に塗装を施すことができる。
【０００３】しかしながら、塗装対象物に螺子穴が含ま
れる場合、塗装の際に螺子穴に塗料が付着すると後に組
立工程でボルトのねじ込みが困難あるいは不可能になる
ため、螺子穴部分だけ塗膜をはがさなければならなかっ
た。また、螺子穴に塗料が付着するのを防ぐために塗装
作業の際にボルトを仮ねじ込みして置くこともあるが、
どちらの場合もよけいな時間と労力を要した。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】したがって本発明の目
的は、焼き付け塗装や静電蒸着塗装などの塗装を施す際
に、螺子穴に塗料が付着するの的確に防止でき、脱着も
簡便に行える螺子穴遮蔽具を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】以下、添付図面中の参照
符号を用いて説明すると、本発明の塗装用螺子穴遮蔽具
では、本体３を外面が螺子穴２と嵌合する筒状に形成
し、本体３の基端部を遮蔽部４で閉塞し、本体３の先端
部に螺子穴２より小径の先細りテーパー部５を設け、本
体３の基端部に張り出し部６を設ける。

【作用】塗装対象物１の螺子穴２に先細りテーパー部５
を案内として遮蔽具を押し込み、本体３の外面を螺子穴
２に内面に係合させる。この状態では、塗装対象物１の
いずれの側から塗料粒子が噴霧されても、塗料粒子は螺
子穴２の内面への接近を阻止される。
【０００７】塗装工程の終了後、基端部の張り出し部６
に指を掛けて遮蔽具の本体３を螺子穴２から抜き取り、
塗装対象物１を次の工程に移送する。

【実施例】図示の実施例では遮蔽具は、耐熱性（１８０
°Ｃあるいは２００°Ｃ以上で３０分以上）と耐薬品
（塗料と反応しないこと）と弾力性を有することが望ま
しく、シリコンゴム等で成形されている。

【発明の効果】本発明の遮蔽具では、本体３の外面を螺
子穴２と嵌合する筒状に形成し、本体３の基端部を遮蔽
部４で閉塞してあるので、螺子穴２の内面への塗料の付
着は的確に防止され、塗料の掻き落とし等の作業が不要
となる。
【００１０】本体３の先端部に先細りテーパー部５を設
け、本体３の基端部に張り出し部６を設けたので、螺子
穴２への遮蔽具の脱着操作が簡単かつ円滑に行える。
