Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily prevent inclination of a core pin at low cost by a method wherein a gate port member is provided between a runner part for flowing a resin and a cavity part for molding the resin into a molded piece, and the gate port member is movably provided so that an injection angle of the resin against the core pin can be adjusted. CONSTITUTION: Cavity parts 2a, 2b for molding a resin into a molded piece are formed inside a pair of split cavities 1a, 1b. In front of the cavity parts 2a, 2b, cylindrical gate port member 4a, 4b with a gate port part 3a for passing a resin flow are rotatably mounted. The gate port members 4a, 4b are each provided with a flange part at the end thereof to be easily rotated. Runner parts 6a, 6b are formed in the split cavities 1a, 1b correspondingly to the gate port part 3a. A resin flow direction can be changed by moving the gate port members 4a, 4b, whereby an injection angle of a resin against a core pin 9 is adjusted for preventing inclination of the core pin 9.

However, in the above-described core pin, since it is supported by only one of the rear portions, it bends due to its own weight, or
It sometimes bent due to the pressure of the inflowing resin. When molding is performed with the core pin bent like this, the molded product may have uneven thickness, or the core pin may come into contact with the cavity and open a hole in the molded product. Due to repeated bending, the core pin was locally deteriorated, which sometimes damaged the core pin.

Further, in recent years, the shape of the inside of the molded product has become complicated, and the outer shape of the core pin has also become complicated accordingly, so that the pressure of the resin that hits each part of the core pin becomes non-uniform, and the above problems occur. Is becoming more frequent. The illustrated example is one example. Here, the position and direction of the gate opening are changed, but reworking the gate opening requires reworking the entire cavity, which requires a large amount of cost. Further, the processing has to be performed with the mold removed from the molding machine, and the attachment and detachment work has been very troublesome.

Next, the method of use will be described. First, the gate port members 4a and 4b of the mold device are set at arbitrary positions, and the mold device is attached to the molding machine. Here, molding is performed on a trial basis (generally called test pressure). If this test pressure gives good results, continue molding. However, as mentioned above as a problem of the prior art, when uneven thickness or the like occurs in the molded product, the molding is stopped and the mold device is expanded. The mold device is attached to the molding machine. Here, the gate opening members 4a and 4b are released from the fixed state and appropriately rotated (see FIG. 4). Needless to say, it is possible to produce a good molded product. This process is repeated until a good molded product is produced.

FIGS. 5 and 6 show a second embodiment of the present invention.
Instead of the cylindrical gate opening members 4a and 4b of the second embodiment,
The gate openings 3a and 3b may be moved by making the block-shaped gate openings 10a and 10b slide in the split cavity (sliding grooves 11a and 11b). In the previous embodiment, it is possible to rotate and move in the vertical direction in the figure, whereas in this embodiment, it is possible to move in a plane.

7 to 9 show a third embodiment of the present invention. This is an example in which the gate opening member 12 is spherical. The second
The embodiment can be moved two-dimensionally, whereas this embodiment can be moved three-dimensionally. Moreover, since the resin has a spherical shape, the inflow angle of the resin can be set radially, and various adjustments can be made. In addition, 13 is the spherical gate opening member 12
And a runner hole is formed in the center of the holding member. Reference numeral 14 is a screw member for fixing the gate opening member 12 after adjusting it. By the way, the present embodiment is a mold apparatus for molding a molded product such as a test tube for a line or an ink tank for refilling a fountain pen.

The present invention has a runner portion through which a resin flows,
A gate port member is arranged between the cavity where the molded product is molded, and the gate port member can be moved so that the resin inflow direction can be changed and the angle of contact with the resin core pin can be adjusted. Therefore, the gate opening can be moved with the mold attached to the molding machine, and therefore, the bending of the core pin can be prevented easily and at low cost.
