Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the size of a recorder small and a weight light and to improve a handling performance by adopting tight waterproof performance for an image pickup section and a relay cable section and relaxing the waterproof performance for a recording section, and to reduce a cost of the recorder by simplifying a waterproof performance. CONSTITUTION: An image pickup section 1 and a recording section 2 are designed to be separated modules, and tighter waterproof performance is adopted to the image pickup section 1 and a connection cable 3 than the recording section 2. Furthermore, the waterproof structure of the recording section 2 is simplified and the section 2 has an option connection terminal. The waterproof performance for an option itself and its connection section is simplified the same as that of the recording section 2. The water proof performance of the image pickup section 1 and the relay cable 3 is much more enhanced than that of the recording section 2 by using a packing and an O-ring. Only the mating of a case of the recording section 2 adopts the water-proof to simplify its waterproof performance.
