Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable wet clothes put on a porous pipe to be dried by providing the downstream side of a heater with an opening section and a damper adjusting the flow rate of air, and connecting the porous pipe leading dried air with the opening section in the air conditioner for a vehicle, which has an evaporator and a heater disposed in order. CONSTITUTION: An opening section 16 is interposed between a rear heater 11 and a rear blow-off damper 12, the opening section 16 is opened/closed by a damper 15, and a porous pipe 18 is connected with the opening section 16 through a duct 17. When clothes and the like are to be dried, the damper 15 is rotated to the direction that the opening section 16 is released, a compressor is also turned on, a rear evaporator 7 is thereby cooled so as to allow air to be dehumidified, an air mix damper 19 is opened so as to allow dehumidified air to be heated by the rear heater 11, and the air is sent into the porous pipe 18 thereafter. Wet clothes and the like can thereby be dried by dried and hot air blown off out of the porous pipe 18 only by putting them on the porous pipe 18.

In the case of the conventional vehicle air conditioner, when the rear air conditioner is operated, the temperature inside the vehicle is controlled by the rear evaporator and the rear heater, and the middle and rear seats in the vehicle become comfortable. Vehicles equipped with such a rear air conditioner are often used in leisure vehicles and 1BOX cars, and are often used for leisure. However, even if one wants to quickly dry wet ski wear and clothes in the car, especially when skiing, it is not possible to quickly dry them.

When drying clothes or the like, the damper 15 is set to the state shown in FIG. 2, the rear solenoid valve 9 is opened, and the compressor 2
By turning on, the rear evaporator 7 is cooled and dehumidified. Further, the air mix damper 19 is opened to allow air to flow through the rear heater 11, and the dehumidified air is heated by the rear heater 11 and fed into the perforated pipe 18 from the opening 16 through the duct 17. When the above operation is performed by covering the perforated pipe with wet clothes, dry warm air is blown out from a large number of holes of the perforated pipe, so that the clothes and the like can be quickly dried. The clothes can be dried even if the air mix damper 19 is placed at any position from fully open to fully closed.
