However, in the above-mentioned conventional adjustable shoulder belt support device, the slide member and the leaf spring are brought into contact with the rail member, and when the posture of the slide member is changed, the leaf spring is generated. Since it is configured to be pressed against the rail member, when adjusting the height up and down as described above, slide the metals while they are pressed by the contact pressure corresponding to the biasing force of the leaf spring. Therefore, there is a problem in that the movement during adjustment is not always smooth and an unpleasant noise such as a scratching noise is generated. This problem can be solved to some extent by finishing both members that move relative to each other with high dimensional accuracy, but doing so would increase the cost significantly.

On the other hand, in the conventional apparatus, it is necessary to change the posture of the slide member in order to release the engagement between the claw portion and the engagement protrusion, when adjusting the up or down direction, especially in the upward direction. In addition to preventing prying between the slide member and the rail member while changing the posture of the slide member, the slide member is lifted upward against the belt tension acting on the anchor member. It was necessary to do, and the operation was troublesome compared to the downward adjustment.

In such an adjustable shoulder belt support device, the pair of arm portions of the spring member are separated from each other in the vehicle front-rear direction by their own spring force, and the claw portion provided at the tip of the arm portion engages with the rail member. By engaging with the mating protrusion, downward movement of the spring member and the slide member is prevented, and the shoulder belt is supported at a support height corresponding to the height position of the slide member. At this time, the slide member is held in a posture in which the upper end portion approaches the inner flat surface portion of the rail member due to the engagement between the arm portion of the spring member and the side wall portion.

When adjusting the support height of the shoulder belt downward, first, the anchor member is tilted or the like so that the upper end portion of the slide member is pushed into the inside of the rail member to change the posture of the slide member. Let Since the side wall portion of the slide member is engaged with the arm portion of the spring member, it is necessary to push the upper end portion of the slide member against the biasing force of the spring member. Along with this, the pair of arm portions of the spring member are brought closer to each other, the pair of claw portions are positioned inside the engagement protrusions of the rail member and their engagement is released, and the spring member and the slide member are moved up and down. Is acceptable. Therefore, the slide member and the spring member can be moved downward by keeping the posture of the slide member as it is and pulling down the anchor member. The slide member returns to the original posture according to the urging force of, and the claw portions of the spring member are separated from each other to be engaged with the engaging protrusions of the rail member, so that the shoulder belt is supported at the new height position.

On the other hand, when the support height of the shoulder belt is adjusted upward, the slide member is similarly pushed in to release the engagement between the claw portion and the engaging projection, and then the anchor member is lifted upward. The slide member and the spring member may be moved upward, and in that state, the pushing operation force of the slide member may be loosened so that the claw portion and the engagement protrusion are engaged with each other. Even if only the anchor member is pushed upward without moving, the pair of claw portions of the spring member move over the engaging projections while being brought close to each other according to the saw-tooth-shaped engaging projections, and the supporting height of the shoulder belt can be adjusted upward. It is possible.

The height adjusting pitch of the slide member matches the pitch of the engaging projections, but the engaging projections have a saw-tooth shape that smoothly inclines toward the slit as it goes upward, so Even if the claw portion of the member is engaged with the sawtooth-shaped inclined portion, the claw portion is locked by the engaging protrusion while moving downward by a predetermined dimension smaller than the pitch, and further downward movement is prevented. . Therefore, the operation amount for moving the slide member up and down does not necessarily have to be an integral multiple of the adjustment pitch. Further, when the slide member is brought closer to the inner flat plate portion of the rail member according to the urging force of the spring member, another claw portion (second claw portion) engaged with a notch or the like formed in the rail member is formed. If the second claw of the spring member is provided on the slide member and the second claw of the spring member is engaged with the rail member to prevent the slide member from moving downward, the shoulder belt support height is increased. Also when adjusting the height upward, it is necessary to push in the slide member to release the engagement between the both claw portions and the rail member as in the case of adjusting the height downward.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION Here, between the rail member and the slide member, the hollow inside of the rail member together with the slide member is slidably in contact with the four inner wall surfaces of the rail member so that the posture is substantially constant. Since a sliding member made of synthetic resin that can be moved in the vertical direction is interposed, the slide member that is also usually made of metal does not come into contact with the rail member that is usually made of metal, and the height adjustment is possible. The relative movement at the time is smoothly performed through the sliding member made of synthetic resin, and the generation of unpleasant noise such as rubbing noise is suppressed. Also with respect to the spring member, since the distal end portions of the pair of arm portions are brought into contact with the outer flat plate portion of the rail member via the sliding member, the movement is smooth and the generation of abnormal noise is suppressed. Also,
Since the sliding member made of synthetic resin is interposed in this way, the dimensional error is absorbed by the elastic deformation of the synthetic resin, the dimensional accuracy required for the rail member and the slide member is relaxed, and the device is inexpensive accordingly. Composed.

Further, while the pair of claw portions of the spring member engage with the plurality of engaging projections provided on the rail member to prevent the slide member from moving downward, the upper end portion of the slide member is at the upper end of the rail member. When it is pushed into the inside of the slide member, the pair of claw portions are positioned inside the engagement protrusions to release the engagement between the two and allow the slide member to move up and down. Since it is not necessary to provide another claw portion that directly engages with the rail member, and since such a spring member is easily composed of a wire spring or the like,
The structure can be simplified. Furthermore, when the downward movement of the slide member is prevented by only the pair of claw portions of the spring member,
Since the anchor member may be pushed up without pushing the slide member during the upward adjustment, the operation becomes easy.

In this case, in this case, the load of the slide member is directly transmitted from the engaging portion to the claw portion, and is also transmitted from the claw portion to the rail member, so that the arm portion of the spring member, etc. The rail member reliably receives a large impact load applied to the slide member from the shoulder belt in the event of a vehicle collision, while the slide member is provided with another claw portion that directly engages with the rail member. It is possible to easily secure the strength capable of withstanding the above-mentioned load without increasing the mechanical strength required for the spring member. That is, in carrying out the first aspect of the invention, the slide member and the spring member may be engaged with each other via the latching portion of the spring member so as to be relatively immovable in the vertical direction. Since the load applied to the hooking part is transmitted to the claw via the arm, the spring member has a high mechanical force so that the claw does not come off the engagement protrusion of the rail member due to elastic deformation of the arm. Strength is required.

The pair of side wall portions 52, 52 of the shoe 14
On the other hand, a pair of inward engaging pins 62, 62 having a common axis in the vehicle front-rear direction are integrally formed. On the other hand, the pair of side wall portions 38, 38 of the slide member 18 have the groove portion 42. A pair of elongated holes 64, 64 are formed in an arc shape centered on the axial center of the vehicle front-rear direction, respectively, and when both members are assembled, the pair of engaging pins 62, 62 form a pair of elongated holes 64. , 64. Therefore, the upper end of the slide member 18 is allowed to rotate relatively to the shoe 14 so that the upper end of the slide member 18 approaches the base portion 50 side from the state of FIG. The parts are positioned in the vehicle width direction, that is, in the left-right direction in FIG.
By the engagement between the engagement pin 62 and the elongated hole 64 and the engagement between the lower wall portion 56 and the groove portion 42, the shoe 14 is moved vertically with the slide member 18 in the hollow of the rail member 12. Due to the presence of the shoe 14 made of synthetic resin, the sliding member 18, which is also made of metal, does not come into contact with the rail member 12 that is made of metal, and the relative movement between the two is performed smoothly, resulting in a scratching sound. It is hard to make an unpleasant noise. Further, since the dimensional error is absorbed by the elastic deformation of the synthetic resin, the rail member 12 and the slide member 18 are not required to have high dimensional accuracy. At the lower end of the rail member 12, as shown in FIG.
Is provided with a stopper 66 that is obliquely bent into the hollow of the slide member 1 with the lower wall portion 56 of the shoe 14 interposed therebetween.
By engaging with the groove 42 of No. 8, the slide member 18 is prevented from slipping out downward.

The pair of arm portions 70, 70 have their tips abutted against the outer flat plate portion 48 of the rail member 12 via the base portion 50 of the shoe 14 and separated by the spring force of the arm portions in the vehicle longitudinal direction. Thus, the slide member 18 is engaged so as to intersect with the pair of side wall portions 38, 38, and the slide member 18 is urged in the direction in which the upper end portion approaches the inner flat plate portion 30 of the rail member 12. That is,
Since the pair of arm portions 70, 70 extend substantially parallel to each other, the pair of side wall portions 38, 38 of the slide member 18 have upper recessed shapes and are engaged so as to intersect each other. The posture of the slide member 18 is always held on the inner flat plate portion 30 side of the rail member 12 as shown in FIG. As long as the engagement between the side wall portion 38 and the arm portion 70 is maintained, the tip of the arm portion 70 has the outer flat plate portion 4.
The hooking portion 68 is held in the groove portion 42 of the slide member 18 by the reaction force of being pressed from the 8 side. Then, in the state where the pair of arm portions 70, 70 are separated from each other in this manner, the pair of claw portions 72, 72 are engaged with the engagement protrusions 34 of the rail member 12 so that the spring member 16 and the slide member 18 are lowered. To move to. By positioning the slide member 18 with respect to the rail member 12 in this manner, the shoulder belt can be supported via the anchor member 22 at a support height corresponding to the height position of the slide member 18.

On the other hand, when the anchor member 22 is tilted, the upper end of the slide member 18 is pushed into the rail member 12 as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, that is, the rotation axis of the groove 42. When the slide member 18 is rotated around to the outer flat plate portion 48 side of the rail member 12, the pair of arm portions 70, 70 are engaged with the pair of side wall portions 38, 38, so that the pair of inclined surfaces 40, 40.
Is flexed and deformed inwardly along the direction, and the respective tips are brought closer to each other. In this way, the pair of arm portions 7
In the state where 0 and 70 are close to each other, the pair of claws 72 and 72 are moved to the inner position where they do not interfere with the engaging protrusions 34 of the rail member 12, so that the spring member 16 and the slide member 18 are not moved in the vertical direction. Permissible. Therefore, while the slide member 18 is moved up or down in such a position-releasing state, the claw portion 72 is engaged with one above or below the engaging projection 34 engaged before the movement. By doing so, the slide member 18 can be positioned at a desired height, and the support height of the shoulder belt can be changed. Since the arm portion 70 of the spring member 16 is engaged with the side wall portion 38 via the inclined surface 40, the arm portion 70 is smoothly bent and deformed as the slide member 18 rotates, and wear is reduced. Generation of scratching noise is suppressed.

The anchor member 22 is lifted up to move the slide member 18 and the spring member 16 upward, and in this state, the pushing operation force of the slide member 18 is relaxed to engage the claw portion 72 and the engagement protrusion 34. However, even if the anchor member 22 is pushed up without pushing the slide member 18, the claw portion 72 of the spring member 16 gets over the serrated engagement projection 34, so that the shoulder belt support height is increased. Can be adjusted upwards.

The height adjusting pitch of the slide member 18 matches the pitch of the engaging projection 34, but the engaging projection 34 has a saw-tooth shape that smoothly inclines toward the slit 32 as it goes upward. Therefore, even if the claw portion 72 of the spring member 16 is engaged with the sawtooth-shaped inclined portion, the claw portion 72 is locked to the engagement protrusion 34 while moving downward by a predetermined dimension smaller than the pitch, Further decline is blocked. Therefore, the operation amount for moving the slide member 18 up and down does not necessarily have to be an integral multiple of the adjustment pitch.

Here, the rail member 12 and the slide member 1
Between the sliding member 18 and the slide member 18, which is vertically movable in the hollow of the rail member 12 in a state in which the rail member 12 slidably contacts the inner wall surfaces of the rail member 12 in four directions. Since the shoe 14 is interposed,
Similarly, the metal slide member 18 does not come into contact with the metal rail member 12, and the relative movement during height adjustment is smoothly performed through the shoes 14, so that unpleasant noise such as rubbing noise is generated. Occurrence is suppressed. Spring member 16
As for the pair of arm portions 70,
Since it is brought into contact with the outer flat plate portion 48 of the rail member 12 via the, the movement is smooth and the generation of abnormal noise is suppressed.
Further, since the synthetic resin shoe 14 is interposed in this manner, the dimensional error is absorbed by the elastic deformation of the synthetic resin, and the dimensional accuracy required for the rail member 12 and the slide member 18 is alleviated. The device is inexpensively constructed.

Further, the pair of claw portions 7 of the spring member 16
2, 72 are engaged with a plurality of engagement protrusions 34 provided on the rail member 12 to prevent the slide member 18 from moving downward, while the upper end of the slide member 18 is positioned at the rail member 1
When it is pushed into the inside of 2, the pair of claws 72, 72 are positioned inside the engagement protrusion 34, the engagement between them is released, and the vertical movement of the slide member 18 is allowed. Therefore, it is not always necessary to provide the slide member 18 with another claw portion that directly engages with the rail member 12, and the spring member 16 is easily composed of a wire rod for spring, so that the structure can be simplified. In this embodiment, since the slide member 18 is prevented from moving downward only by the pair of claws 72 of the spring member 16, the anchor member 22 does not need to be pushed in when the slide member 18 is adjusted upward. Since it suffices to push up,
Easy to operate.

Therefore, the arm 70 of the spring member 16 is hardly loaded, and a large impact load applied from the shoulder belt to the slide member 122 at the time of a vehicle collision can be reliably received by the rail member 12. It is possible to easily secure the strength capable of withstanding the load without providing another claw portion that directly engages with the rail member 12 on the slide member 122, and reduce the mechanical strength required for the spring member 16. . That is, in the embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2, the slide member 18 and the spring member 16 are engaged with each other via the hooking portion 68 of the spring member 16 so as to be relatively immovable in the vertical direction. In this case, the load applied from the slide member 18 to the hook portion 68 is transmitted to the claw portion 72 via the arm portion 70, so that the claw portion 72 is engaged with the rail member 12 by elastic deformation of the arm portion 70 or the like. The spring member 16 is required to have high mechanical strength so as not to come off from the protrusion 34. In addition, the claw portion 72 of the spring member 16 in the present embodiment, in order to avoid interference with the engaging portion 124 when the slide member 122 is pushed in,
Part of the groove 42 is bent in an arc shape centered on the rotation axis. In addition, the upper wall portion 54 of the shoe 14
The extension dimension of is reduced.

Here, in the above embodiment, since the spring member 16 is engaged with the groove portion 42 such that the spring member 16 cannot move relative to the vertical direction, it is interposed between the claw portion 72 of the spring member 16 and the engaging portion 124. The play is inevitable, and the claw portion 72 is elastically deformed so as to be engaged with the engaging portion 124. However, there is a vertical movement between the groove portion 42 and the hook portion 68 of the spring member 16. Direction play is provided, and the spring member 16 and the slide member 122 are moved relative to each other in the vertical direction, whereby the engaging portion 124 is moved to the claw portion 72.

1. An adjustable shoulder belt supporting device, which is disposed on an upper portion of a side surface in a vehicle compartment, supports a shoulder belt for restraining an occupant to a seat, and is capable of adjusting a supporting height thereof. A rail member that is formed in a quadrangular shape and is integrally provided in a vertical direction on a side surface inside the vehicle compartment, and has a vertical slit in an inner flat plate portion located inside the vehicle compartment, and a width dimension from the slit. And a pair of side wall portions which are integrally provided on both side portions of the main body portion and whose height dimension in a substantially vertical direction from the main body portion becomes smaller smoothly from the lower end portion to the upper end portion. A slide provided in the hollow of the rail member so as to be vertically movable while the main body portion is located on the inner flat plate portion side and the upper end portion has a predetermined play in the vehicle width direction. And a hollow of the rail member together with the slide member in a state in which the rail member is interposed between the rail member and the slide member and slidably contacts the four inner wall surfaces of the rail member to constrain the posture to be substantially constant. A sliding member made of synthetic resin that can be moved in the vertical direction; a connecting member that is provided in the main body portion of the sliding member and projects into the vehicle compartment from the slit; and a connecting member that is attached to the tip end portion of the connecting member. Anchor member on which the shoulder belt is passed, and symmetrically on both sides of the slit along the slit on the inner flat plate portion of the rail member so as to form a sawtooth shape that smoothly inclines toward the slit side as it goes upward. And a plurality of engaging projections provided in the front and rear sides of the vehicle on the inner side of the pair of side wall portions at the lower end portion of the slide member that is close to the inner flat plate portion. In the direction of the axis, the latching part is locked so as to be relatively rotatable, and extends upward from both ends of the latching part, and the tip part slides on the outer flat plate part opposite to the inner flat plate part. The slide member is abutted via a member and is separated in the vehicle front-rear direction by its own spring force, so that the slide member is engaged so as to intersect with the pair of side wall portions and the upper end portion of the slide member is the inner flat plate portion. A pair of arm portions whose tip portions are brought closer to each other by engagement with the side wall portion when the upper end portion of the slide member is pushed into the rail member while urging the pair of arm portions. The tip of the arm is bent so as to be substantially perpendicular to the inner flat plate, and the tip projects from the slit. When the pair of arms are separated from each other, they are engaged with the engaging projections to move downward. Impede movement However, the spring member is provided with a pair of claw portions that are positioned inside the engagement protrusion when the pair of arm portions approach each other and allow vertical movement, and a spring member that is moved vertically with the slide member.
