BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Polyamide resins are widely used as engineering plastics due to their excellent physical properties, but they are not necessarily satisfactory materials for use in a wider range of applications by taking advantage of the excellent properties of these polyamides. Absent. For example, in general, polyamide has a characteristic that the change in melt viscosity with respect to shear rate is small, that is, the shear rate dependence of melt viscosity is small,
Therefore, it is practically difficult to obtain a blow molded product of a large capacity container. In other words, when blow molding is performed using a normal screw type blow molding machine, the raw material polymer is
It is plasticized at a high shear rate in the part, but in this case it is desirable that the melt viscosity is low in view of the power of the extruder and the productivity, while the polymer extruded from the die when forming the parison from the molten polymer. -It is preferable to have a high melt viscosity at low shear rates in order to maintain the melt morphology well and to obtain uniformity of the dimensions and wall thickness of the molded part. Therefore, in order to obtain a large blow-molded product with good dimensional stability, it is first necessary to have a high melt viscosity, but simply having a high melt viscosity of the raw material polymer is not sufficient and the melt viscosity is not sufficient. The large shear rate dependence of is a very important requirement. Polyamide is a relatively tough material, but its toughness and impact resistance depend largely on temperature and moisture content. For example, polyamide at the time of normal temperature water absorption exhibits a considerably high impact resistance value. However, it becomes a very brittle material when it is dried or at low temperature. Therefore, in order to obtain a polyamide blow-molded product having a really high commercial value as a commercial product, improvement of impact resistance at low temperature and low moisture absorption is also one of the important problems to be overcome. Furthermore, due to the recent trend toward lighter automobiles and plasticization in engine room, materials with higher rigidity, heat resistance, and higher heat distortion temperature are required, as well as impact resistance at low temperature and low moisture absorption, as well as high rigidity, heat resistance, and heat resistance. A material having a deformation temperature is desired.

As mentioned above, although polyamide has various excellent properties, it has not been sufficiently used as a blow-molded article because of the drawbacks described above. A high-viscosity polyamide material that has a high melt viscosity without sacrificing its useful properties and has a large shear rate dependence, and has excellent impact resistance at low temperatures and low moisture absorption, high rigidity, heat resistance, and excellent heat distortion temperature characteristics. The fact is that the appearance of molded articles is long-awaited in the industry.

The use of polyamides in blow molding applications is already well known, and we have a process for producing polyamides with melt viscosity properties suitable for the production of large extrusions, blow moldings. I've already made a couple of suggestions. The outline is as follows. That is, a method in which a polyfunctional epoxy compound containing a vinyl epoxy group and a vinylene epoxy group is added to a polyamide and mixed and heated and melted (Japanese Patent Publication No. Sho 48-7509), or trimesic acid A method in which a diamine salt is added and polymerized (Japanese Patent Laid-Open Nos. 50-2790, 50-2791, 50-3193 and 50-10429).
No. 7, etc.) to introduce a branched chain into the polyamide molecule. The branched polyamide produced by this method certainly has good viscosity stability and high melt viscosity, and further has a property suitable for obtaining a blow-molded article that the change in melt viscosity with respect to the shear rate is large, No improvement was made in terms of impact resistance, and a blow-molded article having excellent impact resistance especially at low temperature and low moisture absorption could not be obtained. Next, we have found that a solution to this drawback, that is, a method of blending an ethylene ionomer resin, an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, etc., in a branched polyamide is effective as a method for improving the impact strength of the branched polyamide (JP 52-3
2944), and it has been found that nitrile rubber is extremely effective as an impact resistance improver for general polyamides (JP-A-53-21252). After that, we further found that a mixture of a polyamide and an ethylene-based ionomer resin and / or a carboxy-modified nitrile rubber is a material having excellent melt viscosity characteristics and impact resistance even for general polyamides (Japanese Patent Publication No. 55-4
1659).

However, with such materials of the prior art, even if a three-dimensional blow-molded product having a relatively long parison length is obtained, the molded product has a poor appearance and is poor in heat resistance or heat resistance. Although the parison was good, the long parison could not be obtained due to the rapid solidification of the parison, and it was not a sufficiently satisfactory material for obtaining a three-dimensional blow molded product.

The formula (I) is a formula that regulates the viscosity above a certain level necessary for blow molding, and if the melt viscosity does not satisfy the formula (I), the viscosity is low and blow molding cannot be performed well. Generally, the melt viscosity of a polymer is expressed as a function of the measurement temperature and the shear rate, but naturally the measurement temperature is determined by the melting point and the softening point of the polymer. The difference in melting points, ie (T-T
It is appropriate to display m) as a parameter. For melt viscosity, use an ordinary capillary viscometer and use ASTM-D-
It is a value measured according to the method specified in 1238.
The measurement temperature is generally selected in the range of 10 to 70 ° C. higher than the melting point of the polymer in relation to the molding temperature.

The formula (II) is a formula expressing the magnitude of the shear rate dependence of the melt viscosity, and is the ratio of the melt viscosity in the low shear rate region to the melt viscosity in the high shear rate region. It is a quantified size. When the melt viscosity characteristic does not satisfy the formula (II), the change in melt viscosity with respect to the shear rate is small and blow molding cannot be performed satisfactorily, which is not preferable. The upper limit of the melt viscosity ratio (μa10 / μa1000) at the shear rates of 10 sec -1 and 1000 sec -1 expressed by the formula (II) is not specified, but it is a common sense value of about 20 in view of the performance of the molding machine. Polyamide A which can be used in the present invention
Is a polyamide prepared in the composition range of (a) 66 component 50 to 90% by weight, (b) 6T component 5 to 40% by weight, and (c) 6I component 5 to 30% by weight. If the 66 component is less than 50% by weight, the crystallinity of the obtained polyamide is small and the physical properties such as chemical resistance are unbalanced.
If it exceeds 90% by weight, the crystallization temperature exceeds 230 ° C., and a sufficiently long parison cannot be obtained during blow molding, which is not preferable. When the 6T component is less than 5% by weight, the melting point of the obtained polyamide is lower than 225 ° C, the heat resistance is lowered, and the balance of physical properties is deteriorated.
If it exceeds 40% by weight, the heat resistance is improved, but the crystallization temperature exceeds 230 ° C., which causes the solidification of the parison during blow molding, which is not preferable. Further, if less than 5% by weight of the 6I component, it becomes a substantially 66 / 6T copolymer, and the heat resistance is improved, but the crystallization temperature also exceeds 230 ° C., which is a factor that accelerates the solidification of the parison during blow molding. If it exceeds, the melting point is lowered because the 6I component is amorphous and the crystallinity and heat resistance are lowered. That is, the polyamide of the present invention is designed to lower the crystallization temperature of nylon 66 by introducing a 6I component to improve blow moldability and to supplement the decrease in heat resistance due to the addition of the 6I component with the addition of the 6T component. It is based on thought. A blow moldable polyamide having a well-balanced physical property cannot be obtained except for such a design concept. Furthermore, Tm ≧ 225 ° C., Tc ≦
66 to obtain a polyamide satisfying the conditions of 230 ° C.,
Polymerization tests were conducted one by one within the above composition range of 6T and 6I components, and Tm, Tc and crystallinity of the obtained polyamide were measured and determined by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC).

In the solid phase polymerization, the polyamide may be used as it is, or a phosphorus compound or the like may be added to the polyamide as a polymerization accelerator. As the phosphorus compound, phosphoric acid, phosphorous acid, hypophosphorous acid, pyrophosphoric acid, polyphosphoric acid and their alkaline earth metal salts are effectively used. Particularly, phosphoric acid is usually often used. The addition amount of the phosphorus compound is not particularly limited, but is preferably 0.01 to 5
%, More preferably 0.05 to 2%. One or more phosphorus compounds may be mixed and used. As a method for adding the phosphorus compound, a generally known method can be used. For example, a method in which a phosphorus compound or an aqueous solution of a phosphorus compound is added to pellets, powder, strips, etc. of polyamide resin and mixed with a Henschel mixer, tumbler, ribbon mixer or the like is preferably used. As a method of adjusting the melt viscosity, it is possible to melt-knead the polyamide resin to which the phosphorus compound is added, in addition to the solid-phase polymerization. A known extruder can be used for the melt kneading.

The melting point of the polyamide used here is 22.
It is necessary to be 5 ° C or higher. When the melting point is lower than 225 ° C, sufficient heat resistance cannot be obtained. The upper limit of the melting point is not particularly specified, but 300 ° C. or lower is appropriate from the viewpoint of operability during polymerization and moldability during molding.

The crystallization temperature is 230 ° C. or lower,
Needed to get a relatively long parison. 230 ° C
If it is higher, the solidification of the parison becomes faster and the desired parison length cannot be obtained. The lower limit of the crystallization temperature is not particularly limited, but a temperature at which crystallization is possible at room temperature, that is, about 40 ° C. is generally appropriate. The crystallinity is not particularly limited, and any polyamide within the composition range of the present invention can be used without any problem in crystallinity.

The intimate mixture used in the present invention is polyamide A.
On the other hand, 5 to 50% by weight, particularly preferably 10 to 40% by weight, of an ethylene-based ionomer resin and / or a carboxy-modified elastomer B is intimately mixed to form a material. When the blending amount of the ethylene ionomer resin and / or the carboxy-modified elastomer-B is less than 5% by weight, the effect of increasing the shear rate dependence of the melt viscosity of the mixture is remarkably reduced, and the blowing effect is excellent. It becomes impossible to obtain a molded product. On the other hand, when the blending amount of the ethylene ionomer resin and / or the carboxy-modified elastomer B exceeds 50% by weight, not only the heat resistance is lowered but also the characteristics of polyamide are not exhibited, and the original purpose of the polyamide plastic blow molded product is It is not preferable because it is different from.

The mixing method of the polyamide A with the ethylene ionomer resin and / or the carboxy-modified elastomer B and the fibrous reinforcing agent C is not particularly limited, and a generally known method can be adopted. Polyamide A, ethylene-based ionomer resin and / or carboxy-modified elastomer B pellets, powders and pieces, and fibrous reinforcing agent C are uniformly mixed with a high-speed stirrer, and then melted with an extruder having sufficient kneading ability. Method of kneading, or polyamide A and ethylene ionomer resin and / or carboxy-modified elastomer B are melt-kneaded by an extruder and pelletized, and then fibrous reinforcing agent is added to dry pellets and molded by a blow molding machine. The method of doing is suitable. It is also possible to employ a method in which the uniformly mixed mixture is not kneaded in advance with an extruder but directly kneaded in a molding machine at the time of blow molding and then molded. The blow molding method is not limited, and a conventionally known method can be used. That is, generally, after forming a parison using an ordinary blow molding machine, blow molding may be carried out at an appropriate temperature.

In order for the blow-molded article of the present invention obtained as described above to have excellent rigidity, heat distortion temperature and impact strength, both polymers as constituents are intimately mixed with each other, and The fibrous reinforcement must be evenly dispersed. As one of the methods for evaluating the mixed state of both polymers, there is a method of using the particle size of the dispersed phase as an evaluation scale,
The blow-molded article of the present invention has a dispersion average particle size of the ethylene ionomer resin and / or the carboxy-modified elastomer portion as a dispersed phase dispersed in a polyamide matrix phase of 10 μm or less, more preferably 5 μm or less. It is necessary to improve the impact resistance, especially to obtain a molded article excellent in impact resistance at low temperature and low moisture absorption. If the average particle size of the dispersed phase exceeds 10 μm, the effect of improving impact strength decreases, and it becomes impossible to obtain a molded article having excellent impact resistance especially at low temperature and low moisture absorption. However, since the ethylene-based ionomer resin and / or the carboxy-modified elastomer-B used in the present invention have good compatibility with the polyamide A, it is possible to relatively easily achieve the intimate mixing state defined here. It is preferable to melt-knead with an extruder once before performing blow molding. Also in blow molding, it is suitable to use a blow molding machine equipped with a screw having a high kneading capacity. Incidentally, in order to investigate the mixed state of the blow-molded product, that is, the particle size of the dispersed phase in the matrix phase, a part of the molded product may be directly measured by a cutting microscope or the like. The dispersibility of the fibrous reinforcing agent can also be evaluated at the same time.
