When split photometry is performed for automatic exposure by the light receiving element located in the autofocus zone after the focus is adjusted by autofocus as in the present application, the photometry is performed properly when the autofocus zone matches the human face. However, if the clothes match the person's clothes, the exposure of the face, which is the main subject, may be excessive or insufficient due to the reflectance of the clothes at this time. Therefore, in this embodiment, as described above, two natural light photometric elements SPC1 and SPC are used for partial photometry.
It is equipped with a PC2, and the exposure is determined by whichever of the two photometric elements that receives less light. That is, as shown in FIG. 3 (A), when the photometric element SPC2 measures the face of a person and the photometric element SPC1 measures a background that is generally brighter than the subject, the photometric element SPC2 that receives less light is detected. Since it is adopted, it is properly exposed to the face of the subject.
Further, as shown in FIG. 3B, when the photometric element SPC1 is measuring the face of the person and the photometric element SPC2 is measuring the clothing of the subject, at this time, the clothing is whitish and the reflectance is equal to that of the face. When the reflectance is higher than the portion, the SPC1 that receives a small amount of light is used for the photometric element, so that it is properly exposed to the face of the subject. On the other hand, when the clothes are dark and the reflectance is lower than the reflectance of the face, SPC2 is adopted as the photometric element,
Since it is exposed to clothes with low brightness, it will be overexposed to the face of a person, but in general negative film has a wide enough tolerance against overexposure, so it is possible to shoot without inconvenience. It is possible.

COM is a microcomputer including a CPU (central processing unit), E is a control battery, and the resistor R1 and the capacitor C1 connected to the battery E are the microcomputer COM when the battery E is mounted. It is for power-on reset for resetting. Tr is a transistor for supplying power to each peripheral circuit. In the first step of pushing the relays button, the switch SW1 is turned on, and the triggers for photometry and autofocus, which will be described later, are activated. In the second step, the switch SW2 is turned on and the trigger for relays start is activated. AVo and AVmax are information from the lens LE1 and indicate an open aperture value and a maximum aperture value (minimum aperture value), and SV is film sensitivity setting information. Mg1, Mg2, Mg3,
Mg4 is a relays magnet, a one-acting control magnet, a two-acting control magnet, and an aperture control magnet, respectively.
D is a display for displaying each information. SPC1 to SPC3 are the natural light metering elements described above.
The output of C3 is selected by the switch SWC1~SWC3, after being compressed by the logarithmic compression circuit consisting of an operational amplifier OP1 and a diode Dd 1, level-shifted by the operational amplifier OP2,
Then, it is input to the microcomputer COM via the A / D converter. FP is a pulse output circuit, which outputs pulses corresponding to the number of narrowing stages from the open state, and the number of pulses is counted by the microcomputer COM. S
WC is switch S according to the command of microcomputer COM
A switch controller that selects WC1 to SWC3. The output of the flash dimming photodetector SPCB, which measures the light reflected from the film surface during exposure, is the operational amplifier OP3 and diode D.
It is input to one input terminal of the adder ADD via a logarithmic compression circuit consisting of d 2, and a predetermined signal from the microcomputer COM is input to the other input terminal via a D / A converter. . The signals added by the adder ADD are integrated by the integrator INTE, and the integrated value is compared by the comparator C. When the integrated value, which is the comparison signal, exceeds the reference voltage Vref, the comparator C sends a signal to the flash unit FL to stop the light emission. The integration by the integrator INTE is performed when the signal INTS of the microcomputer COM and the voltage at the contact b generated by the transition of the X contact SWX for the flash device FL trigger to the photometry to a
It starts with a signal from the circuit. The subject in the autofocus zone in the center of the screen is the image sensor for autofocus
Detected by CCD, the detection signal is interface I
It is input to the auto focus controller AFC via F. In this auto focus controller AFC,
When the auto focus motor AFM is driven according to the auto focus start signal AFS from the microcomputer COM and the subject in the auto focus zone is best focused by moving the lens LE1 forward and backward, the auto focus motor AFM is stopped and the auto focus ends. Signal AFE is sent to the microcomputer COM.
Thus, in this embodiment, one-shot autofocus is configured, and a time chart of the operation is shown in FIG. In this time chart, switch SW1, signal
In AFS etc., it is active when it is "0". If the switch SW1 is still on after autofocus is completed, the lens LE1 will be locked, but the autofocus controller AFC will only perform the distance measurement calculation, and that distance calculation will be done via the signal line P1 to the microcomputer. Input to COM. To start autofocus again, turn off switch SW1 and then turn it on again. When the switch SW1 is off, AFS = 1, AFE = 0 and the initial state is restored.

次に、実際の動作をフローチャートにより説明する。Next, the actual operation will be described with reference to a flowchart.

By setting the signal PWC = 0 in step S20, power is supplied to each peripheral circuit via the transistor Tr.
In step S21, the display content on the display LCD is cleared.
Next, the state of the switch SW1 is determined in step S22, and if it is on, the signal AFS = 0 is set in step S23, and the autofocus controller AFC operates to start autofocus. On the other hand, if the switch SW1 is off, it is set in step S24 that it is not immediately after completion of autofocus (AFEF = 0), and step S25
Stop signal autofocus with signal AFS = 1. This is because, as will be described later, in this embodiment, the microcomputer COM operates for a certain period of time even after the switch SW1 is turned off, but the autofocus is stopped during this period. Then, in step S26, it is determined whether or not the autofocus is completed (AFE = 1). If it is not completed, the process proceeds to step S29, which will be described later, and if it is completed, immediately after the autofocus is completed in step S27 (AFEF = 1).
If it is immediately after completion, the process proceeds to step S30, which will be described later. If it is not immediately after completion, AFEF = 1 indicating immediately after completion is set in step S28, and the process proceeds to the next step S29. Step S29 is a subroutine for loading the photometric value Bv into the microcomputer COM, and the photometric output is always loaded into the microcomputer COM from this routine until immediately after the completion of autofocus, but after completion, the value immediately after the completion of autofocus is memorized and measured. No output will be captured. However, when the release button is released, the switch SW1 is turned off, and AFE = 0, the photometric output is taken again. The subroutine in step S29 is shown in FIG.

In S295, the signal on the terminal P 0 is taken into the register BVn (n = 1). The value of n is updated in step S296, and the above operation is repeated until the value of n becomes 4 by the determination in step S297. Therefore, the photometric elements SPC1, SPC2, SPC3, SPC1 + SPC2 + S are respectively connected to the registers BV1 to BV4.

Is smaller than a predetermined value E, and if smaller, it is judged in step S38 whether it is smaller than another predetermined value D. If smaller, it is determined in step S39 as an average photometric value of each photometric element as a photometric value. BV4 is adopted. Thus, a) If the photometric value in the center is smaller than a certain value and is dark, the average photometric value is adopted. B) In other cases, the darker photometric value is adopted among the two divided photometric values. Therefore, when the brightness of the subject is low, the output current becomes minute due to the small area of the photometric element, which eliminates the problem that the linearity of the photometric circuit is not guaranteed and the photometric error occurs. Even if the photometric element is measuring the clothes of a person who is the subject, the exposure can always be properly performed regardless of the reflectance of the clothes.

On the other hand, if D <BVa <E, then steps S40 to S43
The photometric value BVa is compared with the photometric value BV3 of the peripheral photometric element SPC3, and if the brightness difference is larger than a certain value, step
In S44 to S46, the photometric value BVa is corrected to the optimum value according to the comparison value. That is, 1 <| B
If Va−BV3 | <3, it is corrected in step S45, and |
When BVa−BV3 |> 3, the BVa value is corrected in step S44 or S46 according to the magnitude of BVa and BV3. As a result, when the brightness of the subject and the surroundings is high in the case of backlighting, it is possible to prevent an unnatural photograph from being formed by the sub-subject such as the background being blown out if the subject is properly exposed.

In the next step S47, the film sensitivity SV is added to the photometric value BVa as the exposure value EV, and in step S48, the maximum exposure value EVmax for the shortest shutter time TV 10 and the minimum aperture value AVmax is calculated. Then, in steps S49 and S50, the shutter time TV and the aperture value AV are calculated according to a predetermined formula. It is determined whether the aperture value AV calculated in step S51 is smaller than the maximum aperture value AVo. If the aperture value is large, the shutter time TV and the aperture value AV are changed in steps S52 and S53.

The next step S54 is a subroutine for display 1 and its routine is shown in FIG. First, step S541
Shows the daytime mode and flash mode on the display LCD Is erased, and the photometric value BVa is a constant value D in step S542.
When the value is smaller than that, that is, when the photometric value in the central portion is smaller than a constant value and is dark, a display indicating the average photometric exposure, for example, uniformly black is displayed in step S543. on the other hand,
When the photometric value BVa is larger than the constant value D, step S544
At, the brightness difference between the peripheral portion and the photometric value is compared, and when the brightness difference is smaller than the constant value K, a display indicating spot photometric exposure is displayed in step S545, for example, a black circle is displayed in the center
If the brightness difference is larger than the constant value K, step S546.
At, a display indicating the backlight metering exposure, for example, a display in which a black circle is displayed in the center and a display in which this display is reversed are alternately displayed. This display is displayed on the display unit LCD provided under the finder shown in FIG. In this way, each photometric mode can be known in advance without providing a light receiving element for detecting the backlit state. Then, in step S547, the shutter time TV and the aperture value AV are displayed.
When the routine in S54 ends, the process proceeds to step S80.

61: Photometric value BV3 in the peripheral area and photometric value B in the central area
If the difference between V1 and BV2 is not a constant value, for example, greater than 3, then in step S62 the photometric value B during flash
The peripheral photometric value BV3 is adopted as Vf. On the other hand, when the difference is larger than 3, that is, when it is determined that the backlight mode is set, in step S63 or step S66, as the photometric value BVf at the time of flashing, from the peripheral photometric value BV3 to the peripheral portion and the central portion. In this embodiment, a value obtained by subtracting the value obtained by dividing the difference between the photometric values by 3 is adopted. However, as shown in steps S64 to S65 or steps S67 to S68, the flash metering value BVf
Is larger than the peripheral photometric value BV3 by an exposure value EV of 3 or more, 3 is set as the upper limit value. That is: a) When the peripheral part is considerably brighter than the central part, the peripheral part is slightly overexposed, and the subject in the central part, which is underexposed, is supplemented with flash light. (However, the upper limit EV value is up to 3) b) When there is not much difference in clarity between the peripheral part and the central part, both the peripheral part and the subject are properly exposed.

In step S80 of FIG. 9-II, it is determined whether or not the autofocus has just been completed (AFEF = 1), and until just after that, the defocus DEF, which is the deviation from the focus at the time of step S81, is set to 0, On the other hand, immediately after the completion of autofocus, the lens LE1 is not driven as described, but step S82
The distance calculation is performed at, and the value of the defocus DEF is sequentially fetched from the autofocus controller AFC to the terminal P 1 of the microcomputer COM. This is for increasing or decreasing the dimming amount of the flash device according to the magnitude of the defocus amount as described later. I in step S83
NT = 1, that is, it is determined whether the switch SW1 is turned on. If the switch SW1 is turned on, the timer in the microcomputer COM is stopped and is in the preset state in steps S84 and S85. If is turned off, the timer is started in step S86, and even if the release button is released, the power is held within the fixed time set by the timer. If the switch SW1 is not turned on again within this fixed time, the process returns to step S10, which is a reset routine by a timer interrupt, and enters the standby state. In the next step S87, switch S that turns off when film winding is completed
If the state of W4 is judged and it is turned off, it is INT at step S88.
Interrupt 2 is permitted, and the process returns to step S22 of FIG. 9-I.

Disable the INT2 interrupt in step S100, then
In 1, S102, S103, the 1-act and 2-act control magnets Mg2, Mg3 and the diaphragm control magnet Mg4 are turned on (1CMG = 1, 2CMG =
1, FMg = 1). Flash dimming amount DASV in step S104
Is first set by the film speed SV, then the next step
The correction is made according to the value of the defocus DEF amount in S105 to S108, and when the defocus amount is larger than a certain value d, that is, the center of the screen at the time of relays rather than the distance at the time of focus locking when the focus is locked. When the sub-object of is distant, DASV is incremented by 1, and conversely the defocus amount is -d.
When the sub subject in the center of the screen is smaller than
Decrease DASV by -1. In this way, a) -d <DEF <d, normal dimming b) DEF> d, dimming dimming c) DEF <-d, dimming dimming . This is because in the TTL light control type flash device, the reflected light from the center part of the screen is small when there is a subject in the peripheral part of the screen and the center part is missing due to the photometric map in the camera body. As a whole, the exposure is slightly overexposed. On the contrary, when there is a subsidiary subject closer to the center of the screen than the main subject, the exposure is insufficient.
This can occur even in an external light type flash device due to a photometric map or uneven light distribution on the flash device side. Therefore, by performing the correction as described above, even if the shooting composition changes after focus lock and the main subject deviates from the center of the screen at the time of release, the main subject is always irrespective of the perspective of the sub-subject located in the center of the screen. Properly exposed. The degree of the shortage and the excess may be set according to the size of d. In step S109, the dimming amount DASV is output via the terminal P 3 and converted into an analog signal by the D / A converter. In step S110, the signal AFS = 1 is set to stop the autofocus controller AFC, and in step S111, the signal ADSTR = 0 is set to stop the A / D converter. Then, in step S112, the signal RMg is set to 1 and the release magnet Mg1 is set.
Turns on and releases. After waiting for 5 msec in step S113, the signal RMg = 0 is set in step S114 and the release magnet Mg1 is turned off. In step S115, the aperture stop number AVr for narrowing down the aperture value AV from the open aperture value AVo is obtained, and in step S116, the aperture stop number AVr is set in the event counter, and in step S117, the event count starts. . That is, when the signal FMg = 1 is set and the aperture control magnet Mg4 is turned on to narrow down the aperture, the pulses from the pulse output circuit FP corresponding to this are counted. When the predetermined number of narrowing steps AVr is counted, an interrupt for event counting is applied. FIG. 15 shows the interrupt routine. In step S1181, the signal FMg = 0 is set and the aperture control magnet Mg4 is turned off to set a predetermined aperture value AV.
Is set to. The main routine waits for 50 msec in step S119 after step S117, and then sets the signal INTS = 1 in step S120. As a result, the AND circuit becomes active. The integrator INTE starts when the switch SWX is switched to the contact a. Signal 1CMg = in step S121
When it is set to 0, the one-curtain shutter held by the one-curtain control magnet Mg2 being turned off operates. Step S1
The shutter opening time SS is counted at 22 and when the predetermined time is reached, the two curtain shutter held by turning off the two curtain control magnet Mg3 by setting the signal 2CMg = 0 in step S123 operates and the exposure is completed. To do. After that, in step S124, the switch SW4, which was turned off when the film winding is completed, is turned on when the two-curtain shutter travel is completed, and the process proceeds to step S125, and waits for 50 msec, and then the step
In S126, the signal INTS = 0 is set, and the process returns to the INT1 routine.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, according to the present invention, when there is a brightness difference between the main subject in the central portion of the shooting screen and the sub-subjects in the peripheral portion of the shooting screen when shooting in the daylight sync mode, The ambient light around the main subject should be slightly overexposed, and the main subject should be properly exposed with flash light so that the amount of natural light exposure to the surroundings is changed by an amount according to the brightness difference. Since it is set to, it is possible to finish a photograph with rich contrast, which seems to be taken when the subject is backlit. In particular, since the amount of natural light exposure to the peripheral part was changed according to the difference in brightness between the central part and the peripheral part, it is more natural than the case where the natural exposure amount is shifted by a fixed amount, and the backlighting feeling is more natural. Can be expressed.
