Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a highly reliable protector for enclosed motor compressor which can be manufactured and fixed easily. CONSTITUTION:The protector 11 comprises an electrically insulating holder 13 and a heat responsive switch 12 with an enclosed metal case contained therein. The holder 13 is previously secured with connecting terminals 14, 15 by insertion, for example. The heat responsive switch 12 is contained in the holder 13 and secured thereto by bonding lead terminal pins 12A, 12B conductively to the connecting terminals 14A, 14B. Since the connecting terminals 14, 15 are secured to the holder 13, torsional or bending force caused by vibration is received by the holder even if the connecting terminal is fixed directly to a glass sealed terminal of an enclosed motor compressor and thereby the joint of lead terminal and connecting terminal is protected against deformation or fracture due to vibration of bending.

ド端子ピン又は密閉容器と接続端子とを導電的に固着す
ることにより熱応動開閉器のホルダーに対する固定が行
われる事を特徴とする密閉形電動圧縮機用プロテクタ。
