Claims (1)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 複数の磁気テープ媒体を個々に格納セル
内に収納し保管する磁気テープ媒体格納部と、磁気テー
プ媒体に対する記録再生処理を行う記録再生部と、前記
記録再生部の近傍に設置され処理前および処理後の磁気
テープ媒体をそれぞれ一時格納するための待機セルおよ
び終了セルと前記待機セルの磁気テープ媒体を前記記録
再生部に装填し処理済み後に前記終了セルに格納する装
填機構とを有する中継処理部と、前記磁気テープ媒体格
納部の指定された任意の格納セルと前記待機セル及び終
了セルとの間で磁気テープ媒体の運搬を行う媒体移送機
構と、前記待機セル及び終了セルを監視し上位装置から
の指示に従って前記媒体移送機構および記録再生部を制
御する制御手段とを備えたことを特徴とする集合型磁気
テープ記憶装置。
