An example of winding a thin plate slab obtained by a continuous casting machine to manufacture a coil and then rewinding and reducing the thickness of the coil is disclosed in JP-A-58-100903. As an apparatus for obtaining a rolled plate in one piece from a slab obtained by such continuous casting, how to reduce the high-temperature heat dissipation of the slab is one of the reasons for reasonably manufacturing a rolled plate. However, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 58-100903, there is no means for preventing heat dissipation when winding a cast slab and manufacturing a coil.

Further, as a means provided with a means for preventing heat dissipation when manufacturing a coil, it is disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 58-100904, in which only a device for forming a slab obtained by continuous casting into a coil is used. A boxed device is described.

In the above-mentioned conventional technique, a slab produced by a continuous casting machine is once wound into a coil, and then the slab is unwound and subjected to thickness reduction rolling, so that the following problem of heat dissipation of the slab occurs.

That is, the processing speed from casting to winding on the casting line cannot be set to a high speed because it is limited by the casting speed of the casting machine. On the other hand, the rolling line speed is almost unlimited and high-speed rolling is possible.

Therefore, there is a big problem that the temperature of the slab decreases due to heat radiation from the slab on the casting line. In particular, since it takes a long time to wind the coil of the slab, heat radiation during the winding work becomes a problem.

Usually, the size of the slab to be wound around the coil is a plate thickness of 20 to 35 mm, and the plate width is 600 to 1600 mm. Moreover, the winding speed of this slab is 10 to 15 m / min in synchronization with the casting speed. Since the weight of the coil after being wound is as high as 15 to 20 tons, it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to wind one coil. Since the winding time is long as described above, the above-mentioned JP-A-58-100903 is used.
In the case where the coil is wound in an open state as in Japanese Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 2003-242242, it is difficult to realize direct rolling without reheating, because the temperature drop of the coil is large. Therefore, the above-mentioned JP-A-58-
In the case of Japanese Patent No. 100903, it was often necessary to supply heating energy to the coil housing to reheat it. In particular, in the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 58-100903, the bending mechanism of the slab is not disclosed, but since the coil is wound in the downward direction, the coil is actually formed above the coil. A large number of cast bending roller mechanisms etc. need to be arranged.

In JP-A-58-100904, although the coil forming device can prevent the heat dissipation of the slab, when the coil manufactured by the coil forming device is transferred to the coil rewinding device which is the next step, the slab does not have any heat dissipation prevention. Not considered.

Further, both Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 58-100903 and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 58-100904 do not consider the fact that the coil is rapidly transferred from the coil forming device to the coil rewinding device.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above object, in the present invention, a plate-shaped slab cast by a continuous casting machine is coiled by bending the plate-shaped slab arranged on a horizontal plane upward. In a continuous casting and rolling facility for winding a coil of a predetermined length by a coil forming device for forming a coil, and rewinding the coil by a coil rewinding device to reduce the thickness of the plate-shaped slab by a rolling device. A coil supporting device for rotating the coil in a horizontal plane is arranged between the coil rewinding device and the coil forming device, the coil supporting device and the coil rewinding device are provided with a coil heat retaining cover. is there.

It enables the installation of a coil heat retention cover that prevents heat dissipation of the coil by winding up a high temperature plate-shaped slab continuously cast on a substantially horizontal surface by a coil forming device,
Further, in order to rewind the coil with a rewinding device and continuously roll the plate-shaped slab with a rolling device, the coil supporting device rotationally moves the end portion of the coil to the rolling mill side,
Each coil setting portion of the coil forming device, the coil rotation moving device, and the rewinding device is covered with a coil heat retaining cover.

The three bending rollers shown in FIG. 1 are used as a coil forming device, and a molding device for bending a cast piece upward to make a coil is used. It is possible to easily install the coil heat-retaining cover without the need for a device for rewinding the coil, and redirecting the coil end to the rolling direction is performed in the process of transferring it to the coil rewinding device, which shortens the heat radiation time. it can. When a coil is manufactured at a speed that is synchronized with the production of cast slabs by a manufacturing machine in this way, a coil with a heat retaining cover is formed to obtain a high temperature coil. Compared to formation,
It is possible to prevent a temperature drop of about 50 ° C from the average temperature. With this, when handling cast slabs, a winding coil of approximately 1050 ° C is obtained, and during rolling of the coil, including the temperature drop of the slab after rewinding, the rolling mill measures 1000 ° C. It is possible to supply the above-mentioned high temperature slab.

According to the present embodiment, a plate-shaped slab continuously cast on a substantially horizontal surface is wound upward by a coil forming device to form a coil, and a coil rotation moving device is used to roll the coil end portion to a rolling mill. Towards the side, the coil heat-retaining cover that prevents heat radiation from the coil covers each coil setting part from the coil formation to immediately before rolling, so that convective heat transfer to the air of the coil and heat dissipation due to radiation are minimized. In addition, it is possible to obtain a plate-shaped slab coil having a temperature higher than that of the conventional one, and it is possible to directly roll the coil obtained by the continuous slab, which has an extremely excellent effect in terms of energy saving.

Further, an application example of another embodiment is shown in FIG. The rolling mill used in FIG. 9 is a rolling roll 87, a reinforcing roll 88.
This is a case where the thickness reduction rolling is performed by using one rolling machine configured by the above. For the rolling work, firstly, the coil rewinding support roller 40 is used.
The slab 8 sent from the slab 8 is rolled by a rolling roll 87 and rolled, and then the rolled plate 96 is fed by a pinch roller 89, guided by a guide 91, and wound around a drum 93 as a rolling coil 92.

The rolling coil 92 is heated in the heating furnace 95. In this work, the guide 85 is tilted downward. After all the coils 30 are rolled, they are then rolled in the opposite direction by a rolling roll, the tip of which is guided by the pinch roller 84 and the guide 85,
The other drum 81 is wound on the coil 82. This work is also performed in the heating furnace 83. Rolling while winding on the left and right drums 81 and 93 is repeated. For rolling from a slab thickness of 30 mm to 2 mm, the number of rollings by the rolling roll 87 is about 5 times.
