機においては図1に示すように多翼形羽根車1の主板4
における翼3間の後縁側が切欠かれ開口部6が設けられ
ており、翼3の外径寸法よりも主板4の外径寸法dを小
さくして主板4の翼3間の後縁側を開放した構造となっ
ている。図における符号1は本遠心送風機の多翼形羽根
車、2は吸込口、3は翼、4は主板、5はケーシング、
6は主板4における翼3間の後縁側を切欠いて設けた開
口部である。また、Dは翼3の外径寸法、dは主板4の
外径寸法で、本遠心送風機においてはd/D=0.85
