Prior Art When wiring various electrical devices in automobiles, etc., a conductor is placed inside an insulating case with multiple connectors installed on the outer wall to connect the terminals of these connectors. It is known that a large amount of wiring can be completed at once by constructing a wiring junction box and connecting terminals of various functional parts, wire harness terminals, etc. to these connectors.

Since such wiring junction boxes are usually installed inside the engine room, they are not only exposed to high temperatures but also have many opportunities to come into contact with oil and water. Even with a cover, water can still get inside. Therefore, in order to prevent electricity from leaking between the wiring even if water infiltrates, the wiring board is made of insulating resin with a conductor placed on an insulating board and tab-type terminals etc. protruding from the outside. There is a way to embed it in

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 5, connector terminals must be provided in precisely regulated positions within the connector housing which is installed upright on the outer wall of the wiring junction box. Therefore, in the past, a gasket was first provided inside the back cover c of the insulating case to prevent resin leakage, and the terminal was inserted into the terminal insertion hole h that could regulate the position of the terminal b in the connector housing of the back cover c. A procedure is adopted in which the wiring board a is attached to the back cover c by inserting the wiring board b, and the front cover is attached in the same manner, and then, for example, a liquid curable resin is filled and cured by heating.

However, such conventional methods not only increase the number of parts but also increase the number of assembly steps, require careful work to prevent resin leakage, and take a long time to harden the resin. , there is a problem of poor productivity. In order to solve this problem, the inventor of the present invention devised a method in which a separately assembled wiring board is embedded in an insulating resin in advance and then mounted inside the housing.

Problems to be Solved Even with the conventional technology and the new improvement method described above, the insulation inside the wiring junction box is improved, but the waterproofness of the connector terminal part is not necessarily improved, and the water resistance between each terminal is improved. The problem of leakage current also remains unsolved. In order to solve this problem, the object of the present invention is to provide a wiring junction box that has less deterioration in insulation between connector terminals and is easy to assemble.

Means for Solving the Problems The purpose of the present invention as described above is to laminate a wiring board and a conductor, and to insulate the entire laminate except for the tab portion of the connector terminal that protrudes perpendicularly to the board surface. A wiring board assembly in which a leak-preventing seat is embedded in resin and is protruded from the insulating resin in contact with the base of the connector terminal, and a surrounding wall is formed around the leak-preventing seat, and a connector housing is provided. A is an electrically insulating wiring substrate provided with conductor through holes, etc., and B is a molded conductor for wiring, and tab-shaped contact terminals b are formed at the ends thereof. C is a wiring board assembly in which a substrate A and a conductor B are laminated, and D is a wiring board assembly C mounted inside a resin mold, etc., and insulation between the wiring board assembly C and the mold. This is an embedding assembly having a resin coating E formed by filling a plastic resin. F is the back cover of the casing, G is the front cover of the casing, H is a connector housing for attaching relays, etc., and I is a waterproof cover.

A connector housing H is provided upright on the front cover G, into which a terminal b can be inserted. In addition, a through hole f is formed in the connector housing part g provided on the bottom surface of the back cover F so that the terminal groups b, b, . . . of the embedded assembly D can be inserted all at once. A connector for connecting an external wire group is formed.

On the other hand, the bases of the terminal groups b, b, . Furthermore, surrounding walls e are provided around the group of leak prevention seats d, which are similarly formed integrally with the resin coating. The shapes of these leak prevention seats d and surrounding walls e are not particularly limited, and may not be rectangular, as shown in FIG. 4, for example. Further, when providing the surrounding wall e, it is not limited to one layer, but may be provided in two layers, three layers, etc.

The leak prevention seat d and surrounding wall e are accommodated inside the through hole f, but the shape of the through hole f is adjusted so that there will be no interference between them when attaching the embedding assembly D to the back cover F. Of course, it is necessary to form it slightly larger (Fig. 3).

Function In the wiring junction box of the present invention configured as described above, even if water or the like intrudes between the cover and the embedding assembly D from between the waterproof cover or between the connectors, leakage will not occur. Water is prevented from coming into contact with the terminal b by the prevention seat d and the surrounding wall e, and the terminal b,
(b) Since the creepage distance X between the terminals is long, leakage current is less likely to occur between the terminals.

In the wiring junction box of the present invention, the wiring board assembly to be installed inside the housing is pre-embedded with insulating resin in a mold, and during the molding, the connector terminals protruding to the outside are The base is surrounded by a leak-prevention seat, so even if water intrudes from the outside or condensation forms inside the casing due to fluctuations in outside temperature, it will be blocked by the surrounding wall or leak-prevention seat. Not only is it difficult for water to come into contact with the terminals, and leakage current between the terminals is also difficult to occur.
Water does not infiltrate between the internal conductor wiring, and high insulation is maintained.
